Perhaps the local senior center will be able to accept the unopened bags of baby lettuces.

Fingers crossed they can accept it.

Interesting, DR Jane. So you use those as a preventative before going out in public?

Man, I hate it when there are several words with only a one letter difference. :P

I was enjoying tea and dark chocolate at about 6 pm when the lights went out.  I didn't think it would be fun sitting in a cold apartment in the dark so I went to see the 45th Anniversary screening of "The Shining."  I had forgotten a lot of it.  It certainly held my interest.

I dreaded coming home, thinking that the electricity might still be out, but was so pleased that the lights were on.

Someone posted a link on Facebook about Rob Reiner and his wife being found dead in their home.  Now I'm reading that two people were found but police haven't confirmed their identities.

Just discovered this Bruce Springsteen song today and I have already listened to it seven or eight times. It’s like a child of Burt Bacharach’s or Jimmy Webb’s. A beautiful waltz.

Oh no, what terrible news about the Reiners. I just watched Spinal Tap II on the plane ride home. It's not as crazily funny as the original, but still a very good time.

"Sunday Love" is part of a whole "lost album" of lost Bacharach/Webb style songs called Twilight Hours. It's part of the Tracks II: The Lost Albums box set. Not everything else is on this level, but there's at least one other song that's just as good, maybe better.

The Lost and Found highlights disc came in at the library. Some of it I like, some I don’t. But the two or three songs from this set are great.

The police initially only gave out the ages, but the ages meant it had to be them, since the ages matched theirs perfectly. There are conflicting reports about the son being questioned - but he does have a very long history of very bad drug addiction.
