I think that's a real shame. Because, you know, there's nothing better than tacky Christmas decorations. And I like that.

The Sleigh Ride videos make me understand Elmore's type of work much better.

The Stratford in Ontario, that is, not the one in England.  :)

I was once cast in a dreadful production of King John, and I still love a lot of the plays. Eventually, because of length, my scene was cut, and I was delighted.

There was for years in Stratford, Connecticut, a summer Shakespeare Festival.

We expected the power outage to possibly last for days, certainly not only seven hours, yet we have power again :)

WHEW!!  Great news, Jane!

I know.  We are still amazed and grateful.

I'm up, I'm up - probably nine hours of sleep if you count the two and a half I got after posting the notes.

Lovely.

I walked several laps at the mall this morning. Their Christmas decorations are pretty sparse this year.

That is a shame.

Driving home yesterday we saw what were once five inflated, and now totally flat, decorations.

After our early morning wake-up call, at least completely for Keith as I did get some sleep between 5:00 & 6:00, we did not feel like going to the gym today.  Instead we went to Costco.

It was crowded but not too bad.  I put my mask on before we got to the door.  We were very pleased to see that they had the Cranberry Walnut bread again.  We purchased two loaves.

We were done shopping in a reasonable amount of time and only had two people in line in front of us.  We were quickly through the check-out and the door.

We left home at 10:00 and returned at 11:15.  With driving time that is very good.

I haven't seen what atrocities Malaria has pulled at the White House yet. Last time I saw her, or her standin, was when she was out investigating the Christmas tree and the delivery men in her  9-inch fuck-me pumps.

Seriously, who wears such ridiculously high heels?
