The Kingston Trio’s ‘Last Month of the Year’ is a family staple.
Fred Waring’s “Now Is the Caroling Season” also.

I'm up, I'm up - almost ten hours of sleep. Feeling a bit better this morning and hope it holds, at least through the session.

TOD: Fries - as close to Belgian-style frites as possible - or onion rings for me.

I'm generally not a fan of Christmas music. I only have two holiday albums in my collection and I listen to them each year

Tracey Thorn: Tinsel and Lights
Jane Siberry: Child

Our local jazz station had an open house on Thursday evening. I've been listening to them since moving here 30 years ago but had never visited before. What fun!

When I left the open house, I tried to put the 2nd CD of Child into the car CD player. But it slipped through my hands and fell into the gap between my seat and the center compartment.

TOD: usually fries

Junior's has great steak fries (and they make a terrific burger)

But I like the skinny McDonald's fries a lot.

I can see where it is but have no great ideas for how to get it out. Maybe I'll try today when I have light, not just my phone flashlight.

I was scrolling through Youtube the other day and the history of The Coventry Carol came up. It's so beautiful and so sad.

While I was walking the other day, I put in my earbuds and set Spotify for The Coventry Carol. Then Spotify just continued with Christmas music.

That happened to me with my ATM card not long ago.  Daylight helped a lot!

After Coventry Carol, the Muppets singing The Twelve Days of Christmas came up. I thought that was an interesting choice. Then followed some Johny Cash, Julie Andrews, Elvis, Willie Nelson, fiddle music, Mormon Tabernacle Choir. An interesting mix.

Probably posted before. I believe the choreography is by Jerome Robbins.

This a a section from Robbins' comic ballet The Concert.
