We are having three friends for dinner on Monday night. One of them had a career as a caterer, so I'm feeling a little intimidated.

Tomorrow will be for whatever can be prepped ahead of time and working out a timeline for the meal so I don't forget anything.

I also grabbed all the ingredients to make peanut butter blossoms this coming week.

I grabbed the last three remaining bags of Hershey's Kisses on the shelf.

On another note, I was glad to find that I hadn't missed the boat on buying fresh cranberries. Was worried they might be gone.

Thanks for the reminder about Brent Barrett's Christmas album - listening right now.

Miserable night. Thanks to the contractions could not get comfortable enough to watch anything - tried sleeping, but same deal. It's behaving right now. Nothing to be done but wait it out.

I can see where it is but have no great ideas for how to get it out. Maybe I'll try today when I have light, not just my phone flashlight.

That happened to me with my ATM card not long ago.  Daylight helped a lot!

It’s very scary when this happens to me with my or the kids’ IDs as we approach the  international border.

Yikes, I would think so! This is just a CD, I'm sure I could have found a replacement if I wound up breaking it while retrieving it.

A thin stick with some Scotch tape wrapped so that the sticky side is out, then carefully grab the CD with the sticky stick. :)

I was thinking of something like that, but with all the electronic controls underneath the seat it would be hard to get the CD and not something else. Fortunately my hand was able to grab it safely when the seat was all the way forward.

Plus I found one of my Georgia O'Keeffe Museum pencils - who knows how long it was under that seat, but pencils don't go bad!

I'll take a hot shower and maybe that will relax the muscles in my hand.

Wonder if a warm compress would help. I’ve had my toes locking up lately.

What helps is if I can just ignore it for ten minutes, it will usually go away. But the more it happens the harder it is to ignore.
