And here it is with the light off...and you can see a matching tabletop light in the bottom left corner:

Listening to the marvelous Robert Russell Bennett violin concerto. We released the old mono radio broadcast performance, but I think this is its first actual recording and it's just great and comes paired with a Vernon Duke violin concerto. It's on Chandos.

Also watched more best of Graham Norton clips. I do wonder if he's ever had a guest on who was not having a great time and how he handled it. I read that Timothee Chalemet was on and completely embarrassing. I'll see if I can find that clip.

I haven't seen a lot of his interviews, but I've known about him for years, and I've never seen him with a bad interviewee.

BK I’ve been enjoying “It Won’t Hurt to Try It.” Particularly the Georgie Fame version, which has my favorite vocal and arrangement of the ones I heard.

There used to be a chap in LA who ran tours of infamous spots around the city called the Find a Death Tours. I interviewed him once for a freelance thing, then TPunk and I went on one of his tours. Except nobody else signed up that day, so he just drive us around LA in his jeep. We tried to get into Paramount studios, and it worked. We just wandered around in there. Was kinda crazy. That was also the day we drive by Charo’s house as she was pulling out of her garage.

I’m only reminded of this because the guy had been Graham Norton’s significant other for a few years.

Mincing the ten garlic cloves was the easiest and fastest it's ever been. Why?

Because I've been watching a lot of YouTube food preparation videos and watched how they did it. And it worked splendidly. I never used to smash the cloves before dicing and mincing. Smashing is the secret.

Henry George, buried in Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery. It is said his funeral procession had millions lining the streets from Grand Central Station to Park Slope Brooklyn.
