Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of both Christmas Day and the Darling Daughter, and now it is time to post until the Christmas Day cows come home.

Since I am ahead of myself on the Encores! work, I stayed up till 9:00 and slept in until 6:00 this morning. It was lovely. Around 4:30, just after a bathroom break, both Thatch and Annabelle wanted under the blankets to get warm. It was18 degrees F at 6:30 this morning. Stella crawled in bed earlier with me, but I think she prefers to sleep on the floor next to the bed.

Last night I watched on Amazon Prime a 2014 film Getting to the Nutcracker, about the students - aged 3-18 - of the Los Angeles Marat Daukayev School of Ballet preparing their annual performance of The Nutcracker. I wanted to l;ove it, but I couldn't hear it! The musical excerpts were very loud, but all of the interviews and other spoken sections were so soft and low that I could hear maybe one word out of ten with the volume at its highest level. I finally just settled back and enjoyed the visuals while I wondered what the fat hell people were saying.

I put Leonard's heated cat bed on the sofa beside me, and he's curled up in it. Like it's cold or something.
