Bruce, what did your doctors say about weight loss?

Are you losing weight?  Too much or are you pleased?

From DR Jeanne,

Quote
Did I mention that bk and I have the same neurologist? I saw him for the first time recently, after a 5-6 month wait. I told him I know Bruce. He asked how we met. I told him we met as teens. Then I thought he asked if I’d followed his career—at least I thought that’s what he asked. I said that we lost touch for a while, that I was working long hours and not watching TV. Later I realized that he might not know about Bruce’s career and my response would have made no sense. ☺️

LOL regarding your response.  I say strange things to people in response to what I thought I heard vs what they said.  I know this because Keith tells me after we leave the conversation ;D

I did not know you were seeing the same neurologist.  I hope he has been able to help you.

From DR John,

Quote
To get in, you had to donate to the food bank. Reports say 30,000 pounds of food was donated, which Fluffy said should feed 19,000 people.

DR Vixmom, I like how you made Christmas special, and gave your brother a much needed break.

I put Leonard's heated cat bed on the sofa beside me, and he's curled up in it. Like it's cold or something.

Sweet.

What does Boxing Day mean to you all, traditionally? We never had a tradition or anything. Was just the day after Christmas, a day to enjoy your presents.

In Canada, it’s a bigger deal. Their Black Friday. People go shopping for big discounts. Seems odd to me.

Boxing Day was an English thing, not something we did here.  I don't remember Black Friday until I was an adult.  Sure, there were sales the day after Christmas but I didn't have a name for the day.

I think the original concept of Boxing Day, giving gifts to those that need them, is much nicer than what it is today.

I feel like “Black Friday” became a thing like it is only in the last 20-30 years.

Not that I’ve ever done anything on Black Friday.

The only years I did anything were the years in Pennyslvania where I went with my girlfriend to one special store to shop for half off Christmas items for the following year.

This morning we went to the Hardware store next to our gym to pick up a few things.  I didn't see anything on sale.  If the Christmas cards were on sale I might have purchased a few boxes for next year.  I did put on my calendar for next year to shop there for cards instead of Fred Meyer as the selection was rather bad the last couple of years.

The most cringe-ridden game show in history is the Richard Dawson-hosted Family Feud. Could not get away with it today and he is beyond smarmy doing it.

Isn't it time to get to page 3?  What is this, the day after a holiday or something?
