Today has been proclaimed a day of rest and recovery for the likes of little ol' moi, so I will most definitely be not going left, not going right. In plain language, I shall be sitting on my ASS, grateful to not even be sticking my head outside.

I am still recovering from the shocks of MR BK paying over $21 for a turkey sandwich.

Some nut job on Facebook swore he measured 23 1/2 inches of rain on his patio. From one day. I didn't exactly call him an idiot, but did tell him that if that were true it would break every record known in the Valley (he's in Newhall) since the mid-1800s and I think if THAT had happened we would have heard about it. I also asked him how he measured it - with a tape measure? He never responded, so I assume he was just another Facebook nitwit.

Highest snowfalls recorded: "9 inches in Newhall during a major 1931 storm and 6 inches in January 1949"

And the blatant lies from the AI pages, and the memes they post are beyond reprehensible, and yet, people believe them.

When I mention it is fake news they still leave them up.  Oh, and those sweet tear jerker stories that seem to only be on Facebook.
