It is 34 degrees here with a feels like of 44 degrees.

Last night I had TCM on so those sci-fi flicks could play in the background. When Attack of the 50 Foot Woman came on I was ready to get into bed so I stopped everything else and watched, but fell asleep and missed the last 20 minutes.

But the time I was settled, it was looking like it had gotten a lengthy intro by Ben Mankiewicz, but I missed it!

I believe he spoke at length for all three films.

I'm up, I'm up - just under eight hours of sleep.

Friday evening we ventured to the Oxford, OH, branch of Lane Public Library to celebrate National Science Fiction Day.  The featured speaker was author John Scalzi, who was quite interesting and entertaining.  Richard has read several of his books.  I have not, but I do love to listen to authors talk.

LOL, DR Elmore, Richard only vaguely remembers the production, so, no, he doesn’t have a program.  He says, “That was more than 50 years ago.  I barely remember 50 days ago!”

DR Jane, he’s quite fond of the Old Man’s War series, which starts with a book by that title.

A retired librarian whose opinion I respect says her favorite is The Kaiju Preservation Society.
