TOD - for carry out fried chicken we’re partial to Lee’s Famous Recipe, a chain that was founded in Lima, OH.  They have locations in 13 states (and British Columbia) and they’re mostly in Ohio and Kentucky.  I prefer their boneless strips with potato salad and green beans for sides.

In British Columbia? Well that was exciting till I found they’re all out on Vancouver Island.

I have seen three Jim Jarmusch movies on the big screen. And I think it's the best way to see them.

Father Mother Sister Brother is a painful comedy about those families that are not close, that have nothing to say to each other, that can't wait to leave each other's company. The Mother scene with Charlotte Rampling and Cate Blanchette is my family to a T. (Or team if you saw the scene.)

It makes the Sister Brother sequence all the more touching. Their grief is real, so is the love they share.

They are doing pretty well and are all independent now. But there are dependability/attendance issues. That seems to be the way with young folks nowadays.
