TOD: I don't recall ever having mac and cheese as a kid. I probably only made if after one of the kids asked for it. The boxed kind. Ugh.

Just doctor it up, Laura. :)

But I usually make it. With Velveeta. Because I'm feeding kids and they like it.

I don’t know if the saltiness was from Kraft or the tuna.

My youngsters won’t touch the stuff. One of them eats Annie’s, the organic brand.

Not saying they were confused. But confused for each other.

What two well-known folks with similar names do you often confuse or unfairly associate with each other?

I made some chicken mushroom soup today. I got a 5 pound box of mushrooms for $7 on Friday. We're having mushrooms with everything.

My friends Shelly and Margo both like mushrooms, as well as my mom, sister, and niece.  I, however, do not.

I found them easy to tell apart as June Haver was so good as Paladin on “Haver Gun Will Travel.”

Well, this is pretty cool:

Music that entered the public domain in the USA in 2026

featuring John Philip Sousa, Edward Elgar, Sergei Prokofiev, Leopold Godowsky, Miklós Rózsa, and George Gershwin

Nice video - thanks for sharing!

You're welcome, Michael!

Well I liked Velveeta and still use it to make mac and cheese.

I also use it on my cheeseburgers.

It melts very well.

That reminds me of one of the earliest chip/taco dips that I ever had (I was an adult by this time):  just heat up and melt a block of Velveeta with a can of chili con carne without beans, mix thoroughly, and dig in.  It was always made in a crock pot so that it could stay warm.

Finishing up Tron Ares. It turned into a fun flick. Really good Trent Reznor/Ross score. Fun effects.

Thanks for the repor, John.  I might need to get it so that I can have the complete movie collection.

Any predictions for the Oscar nominations, which are announced tomorrow?

I've only seen two or maybe three movies last year, so I have no opinion. ::)
