It’s brutally ugly outside.

From your earlier discription I would expect it to be ugly.

bk, interesting to hear that your Saturday night audiences are on the quiet side too. It used to be that Saturday night was our liveliest house and the Sunday matinees were pretty sleepy. Now, besides being the biggest houses, the Sunday matinees are also the liveliest.

Today I'm off to a lieder recital by one of my favorite local singers. The concert series is run by one of my 3rd cousins on my Mom's side. She's from the London family that we never would have discovered without Ancestry.DNA testing.

Thanks for the photo.  Does your car normally sit in the driveway?

Thanks, DR Jane. Yes, I know you can do laundry in cold water. And, at this point in time, there is ZERO dirty laundry. We'll see how long that lasts.    :)

Just spoke to my mom in mid-New Jersey. She thinks they've had at last 8 or 9 inches so far, and possibly now changing to freezing rain. Ir's very cold, also - around 10.

Finishing up The Homemade God, by Rachel Joyce. It’s a sad novel of the disintegration of a family. And yet it casts its spell.

Furniture Connection in Clarksville, TN is going through some things on Yelp because one of the co-owners posted on social media that all the MN protestors should be shot in the streets. I may or may not have contributed a review.

On a recent Columbo episode, Samantha Eggar had a supporting role.

The episode with Ruth Gordon as the villain was also fun.

But that 70s interior decor in so many settings is headache-inducing.
