And I'm not making THIS up either:

I used to have a colleague who, whenever he clicked "send" in his email client, used to exclaim, loudly, "Missle, launch!"   Ugh.

Was his first name George?

What exactly is a Frank Chacksfield version of "She Loves Me"?

Is there a French equivalent of "Duck and Cover"?

Careful, François, acknowledging my post refutes the notion that no one reads yours posts and responds to them.   :-*

DR Cillaliz - I've spent my day catching up on book review journals and have just read in the April 9, 2007, Publishers Weekly about the bookselling landscape in Iowa.  Did you know that Iowans read more books per capita than the residents of any other state?  And have you ever been to Prairie Lights in Iowa City?

I'm not surprised, everyone reads here.  Yes, I've been to Prairie Lights many times.  I was there when I was in school and it was a little book shop and I've been back many times now that it's a large store.  It's been a couple years since I've been to Iowa City, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's even larger than it was when I was there

A quick hello to all.  Not much to tell.  There's no change execpt that I am so tired I'm about to fall on my face.  Trying to work and getting up at five is really taking it out of me.

I heard from DR Jane.  She is fine but the dog got out of it's crate so her son had to get another  crate, therefore making him late to meet with her.

At least that's what I thought I heard.

Good night all.  I feel like I just have to lay down.
