Congrats again to DR GINNY on her successful presentation.  I would have been able to use the Ohio Discount.

Voice wise - I am a mezzanine baritone.

UH-OH!

'Law & Order' Future Still Undecided

Quote
LOS ANGELES (April 19) -- After more than a month of negotiations, the future of ratings-challenged NBC crime dramas "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is still uncertain.

This week began with a flurry of rumors Monday about the cancellation of the mothership series, which is in its 17th season.

After an in-person meeting between representatives for the series' creator, Dick Wolf, and NBC later that day, the fate of the show was moved back into the "undecided" column. Talks between the two sides are expected to stretch into early May before a final decision on the two series is made. (The franchise's third series, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," was picked up for next season in January.)

I have the crate dimensions on the other computer, and Keith is using it.  It's 28" high-maybe 30" deep & 38" long.

I'm driving from Dulles airport to Pittsburgh.

Thank you.  Knock on wood, the boys are well & we are okay, and the sun is shinning today :).  I try to be grateful for everything that is fine, cuz I'm far too aware how quickly everything can change.

Lar, I really like the Happy End recording. It brings back fun memories of the Thrust Theatre in Rarig Center watching Frank Csuti in drag (way back in 1977). No pictures available. That show was directed by the late Wesley Balk.

Dang renting a van is expensive.  When I figure the cost of my flying out and renting a car, compared with hiring someone to drive Craig, I didn’t realize I would need a van.

You betcha:

I got a $478 quote for a Ford Freestar - three days.

Weekend days are extra-expensive, the drop off fees are huge, and Dulles has a 10% tax plus a !0% Airport Fee.

der Brucer

Just a thought: it might be cheaper to ditch the crate, let the pooch ride loose, and rent a economy car.

I'll do more Internet work for you if you'll give me specific dates and times

Der Brucer-Thanks, it is sweet of you to look.  Right now I’m on Orbitz. Thrifty has a
Dodge Caravan-mid-size van $229 week. I wonder what the difference is between the Caravan & the Freestar.   Before I book anything I will have to call a dealership & ask them to measure the space for me, maybe even go check one out.

Ditching the crate might be a possibility, I will find out how much it cost & see if it is worth it.  A crate will likely be needed at the new apartment.  I think Yogi has always been crated in the car & we aren’t sure how good he will be if left loose.

Back from an excellent French motion picture entertainment, about which more later.  I had a little supper, too, and now I am ready for a restful evening of rest.
