Speaking of customer service, I went to BofA today - every single employee that I know and who take care of me are no longer working there. I mean every single one, including the head assistant manager. So, today they put a hold on a local check, which they've never done before - and there's no one for me to speak to. I called small business services when I got home and while they can't do anything about it today, they will tomorrow when they can "see" the check. The supervisor I talked to said she didn't understand why the teller put the hold on the check in the first place (I made a similar deposit three days ago with no hold - nor have they ever put a hold on a local check) - the teller told me the machine was asking for the hold. So, something's screwy somewhere. It doesn't matter in the scheme of things as the hold comes off on Monday, but it's the principal, and the supervisor was very nice about it and very understanding about my chagrin. I'm fairly certain the hold will come off tomorrow - if not, we'll be having a further conversation about it, and then they'll have to assure me this will not happen again.
