Well, you've read the notes, the notes were coifed, and now it is time for you to post until the coifed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PLUMMY!
-
TOD
Does "coifing" include refreshing your highlights?

Condolences to the family of Thom.

Morning all.
That is all.

Good morning, all! I watched a small bit of the Kennedy Center prohram; I saw the end of the Matt Bomer and Kelli O'Hara duet and all of Chita Rivera's rather poorly sung "I Don't Want To Know," one of my favorite songs which had a peculiar cut in the number. Was the cut made in performance or did some idiot network executive make a decision to remove a section? That got me so riled, I turned off the tv ad read Hugh Martin's chapter on the Freed unit, which sounds like every Mean Girl high school clique run by Head Mean Girl Arthur Freed, who, once again, sounds like a total pig.
Today, I've got more Herbert lyrics to type up before I head down to Toyland around 11am. After all the tsuris last week about payment from the McGlinn work, and I thought things were resolved. Well. alas, no is the answer; I'm still waiting for the check that would have paid my estimated tax payment to NY State this week and I am not amused by the situation.

Aren't there 2 F's in coiffed?
-
Morning, all. I'm actually awake in the morning, instead of my all-too-irritating habit of late of crawling out of bed around noon.
-
Happy Hair Day for MR BK.

RE: exercising.
I am trying to be good. Since I stopped biking it's been hard. But I have now gone swimming for 1 1/2 hours every Monday for 2 weeks in a row. So i am going to try to keep that up till i can bike again.
Also, I tried something new yesterday which is a really fun exercise. My niece got a Wii for Xmas. And there is a game called Dance Play where you copy the moves on the screen. It is great exercise. I did that for almost an hour. And I was breathing hard by the end. So I may try to go over there and do that once a week.
-
They also got Wii fit. Not sure what that includes.
-
Well, there you have it.
-
RE: yesterday's TOD, I did post about tv shows. But I only go to a handful of movies a year in the theatre. I watch 99% of my movies on dvd.
-
I recorded the Kennedy Center Honors and will probably watch them tonight.

So sorry to hear about Thom Moore.
-
DR Jane, even though MEDIUM was cancelled it is not over yet. There are still at least 3 more episodes:
January 7th, 14th and 21st.
-
Indeed DR KERRY.
-
Wednesday morning greetings! I've had my blood drawn and am now enjoying my coffee. Richard is going out to brunch with the same people he lunched with on the day I had my heart attack - I will try not to repeat that pattern today.
-
BK,
Would it be revealing too much if you told us where this 3D Diffusion person is located (i.e. city and/or state)?
I'm wondering if this is a person I have encountered on other sites (and have, actually, met).
BTW: She was tossed off the other sites also.
-
Temps are predicted to hit 55 degrees tomorrow here in Indiana.
-
My question for ASK BK DAY.
Are there any films that you are looking forward to seeing?
-
Off to Toyland!
I've just booked by DC trip and hotel for Jan 10. I hope I find a check waiting when I get home. I really have no idea what's going on with this employer, and I may be canceling this DC trip for a Library of Congress meeting with him.
-
Very sad about DR Thom Moore. Condolences to his partner, family, and friends.
-
I totally forgot to add MODERN FAMILY and CASTLE to my list of favorite shows this year. Loved 'em both!

Hello all! I can't begin to tell you how much I'm enjoying--doing nothing! I feel more relaxed then I have in a very, very, very (make that 3 very's ) long time. I even took a nice long nap yesterday afternoon.
Oh how I wish I could win that lotto and never have to work again. Well, I would have to do something with my time at some point but I would never be in fear of what would happen if I lost the job for whatever reason.
It's not the idea that I could buy things. It's the idea of the FREEDOM the money would buy. No worries about how am I going to pay for the day to day things--food, electric, the home loan, etc. Not having to get up and go to a place I really don't want to go to and do things I really don't care one way or other about--just being able to be at peace at the end of the day. Take a nap, like I did yesterday. Spending time with the dogs. That would be heaven.
I guess I'm just tired of the daily grind.
-
My deepest condolences to DR Thom's

I hope DR TCB's ATM problem is solved. I hate those things. I never trust them and I'm scared until I get my card back every time.
I'll never forget the time I was behind a man who was getting money out of one. It shot his card out first then the money. He was putting his card in his wallet (leaving the money sticking out of the machine) when it pulled the money back in!
He (and I) were stunned. He tried his card again but the machine showed the money as taken out of his account so he couldn't take more. He was hot to say the least.
I don't know how that ended up but from that point on I make it a habit to grab my money and my card as soon as I see it come out of the machine. I don't fumble with trying to put the card away first.

DR Danise, that's exactly how I feel! We grow up forcefed this belief that hard work and application lead to success, that America is the richest country and we're all living The Dream. What a crock of hogwash.

Good Morning!
I'm up, I'm up... And I guess I needed that almost 11 hours of sleep.

And now...
But first...
PAGE TWO!!

Time for breakfast/brunch/lunch. -a.k.a. Time to see if my stomach has settled down from yesterday.

BK,
Would it be revealing too much if you told us where this 3D Diffusion person is located (i.e. city and/or state)?
I'm wondering if this is a person I have encountered on other sites (and have, actually, met).
BTW: She was tossed off the other sites also.
I would not be comfortable revealing any personal details - and I have no idea if the information I have (circa three years ago) is valid.
-
I had trouble falling asleep last night because I kept hearing noises - like running water. For a minute I thought it was my neighbor using his hot tub, but it wasn't. My plan was to go outside and see if I could figure it out this morning but the rains have returned and that's all I can hear at the moment.
-
Oh, and I'm up. I have to leave in about thirty minutes - must stop at the bank and get a little cash.
-
Oh, and I'm up. I have to leave in about thirty minutes - must stop at the bank and get a little cash.
Don't use the ATM! :)
-
Just finished my 30-minute cardio walk around the basement and now it's time for some lunch.
-
I was just thinking about how your prospective can change as you grow older.
I remember when I was in my teens--fifty seemed so ancient and if someone passed away around that age I thought, "Well, they were OLD." Now if I hear someone passed away in their 50-60's I think "But they were so YOUNG!" :: shakes head::
-

Good for you, Ginny! I need start walking to lose some of this weight I've gained.
-
I have (fortunately) never had any trouble with an ATM. My credit union has one on the outside of its building, but it doesn't accept deposits. You have to either go inside or use the drive-through and talk with a real person for deposits. That's a great idea, if you ask me. There really is only one ATM that I use for withdrawals. It's actually owned by another credit union, but it's a no-fee ATM, so I don't get charged any fee for using it. :)

Thanks! It's not from lack of trying. I do still play my one set of numbers every week. I haven't won anything over 50 bucks since the early 90's. Heck, I haven't won anything over 10 dollars for years. Some free tickets and maybe a dollar or two every once in while but you can't win the big one if you don't play. I'm hoping that the odds will catch up with me one day.

Are these in any way related to porn stars? Wasn't that a problem with one of the would-bes?
-
Well, I've registered for my January classes. One is in creative nonfiction writing. The course sounds like a big crock. Better get it over with in my opinion. The other is on society and education. That should be more fun.
-
Now I have to find a way to pay for them. I have applied for financial aid.

Nope, these two are a very cool couple who are both PhD Criminology Professors at Oregon universities. We're super happy with them and they absolutely love the house.

Just returned from The Apple Store.
I thought I was going to have to leave my laptop for 3-5 days, but they did the repair while I waited. Took about 20 minutes.

Since I figured the word in BK's usage was a derivative of coiffure, I guessed two F's. I guess I'll stick with the illiterati; too many glass houses amongst you purists.
-
Two 'f's or one, what care I? I am back and am coifed and coiffed by Teddy. I look completely kempt once again. In a little while I shall go see if there's any mail or packages, and then I must eat something light but amusing.

At long last page three.

PAGE THREE DANCE!!
I'm just here at work...working. :)

I've had a slew of new member requests this morning - wonder how many of them are "Vincent"

Oh, I solved the mystery of the running water. Someone, either the gardener or the pool guy, had left the hose on - unbelievable. It has one of those squirty things on the end so the water wasn't gushing out, but it had been left on at least several hours (if the gardener had done it, which is what I suspect, as I would have heard it the night before) and it was leaking from the spigot itself. I turned it off and all is well and well is all.
-
Our winter storm has begun.
-
We just had a few snow flurries. So pretty.
-
I emailed JR about this earlier--I got a really interesting email from a PDX Microsoft employee who was researching some Frances Farmer lore. Her Aunt had given her a beautiful cut glass punchbowl right before she died and said that is was a gift from Frances when Frances was their housekeeper! This emailer said she would have chalked it up to family lore but in going through her Aunt's effects she found a note to her Aunt from Frances. She thinks maybe the housekeeper part was the effects of her Aunt's late in life dementia, but then she offered to sell me the punchbowl and the note for a very reasonable sum, so I will complete that transaction this afternoon in honor of having tenant income. :)
-
I have had a number of interesting people contact me through the years to sell me various Farmer goodies. I got Frances' passport that way, also one of her costumes from SON OF FURY, as well as tons of personal letters, etc. One thing that I was never able to consummate (so to speak) was Frances' This is Your Life charm bracelet. The woman offering it to me thought I would pay 20K for it. Ummm. . .no.

Nothing much doing today. I did a few chores about the house then ran out to do some financial errands. Stopped at Target to pick up perscriptions. Came home and napped. Heigh-ho the glamourous life...

On Dec. 27 Ron Pulliam posted this:
"Will be up at the butt-crack of dawn in the morning to ride to Columbia SC where I will embark upon a short flight to Atlanta. From there (and heaven willing I make my connection), I'll be on a flight to San Francisco which should see me arrive at 1:30 p.m. PDT."
I bet he will have some stories to tell!
-
I am the proud owner of a rather heavy cut glass punchbowl (and matching stand) given to "Nancy" from Frances Farmer. :)
-
I watched Kennedy Center Honors last night, though I think I enjoyed watching the honorees more than what was happening on stage. I liked how Oprah kicked back once her presentation was over and sang along with all the songs and how Bill T. Jones boogied to everything. And judging by their reactions to each other's presentation, it will be a long time before we see a Merle Haggard/Jerry Herman collaboration.
And as DR FJL pointed out on All That Chat, Rob Ashford has succeeded in creating the most condescendingly gay choreography since The French Mistake in BLAZING SADDLES.
-
Here is a small pic of the bowl, a Heisey Puritan. Of course, Frances would have only bought something named Puritan, it goes without saying.
-
Rob Ashford is horrible. There, I've said it and I'm glad. I also find him a rather uppity human being, and given the talent not on display, the uppity is not justified, not that it ever is.

Back from a yummlicious chopped Eyetalian salad at the Studio Cafe.

Yay (yay, spelled backwards).

They also got Wii fit. Not sure what that includes.
I like Wii fit and I like the Wii resort. Lots of games. On Wii Fit you can create yourself as a character, weigh in, track your weight, do all sorts of exercises and yoga. It's pretty cool

I just watched the Jerry Herman segment - that choreography was a) hilarious, and b) horrifying.

Still on page three? This will NOT do.

I think I've done all I need to do, save for being lazy and not starting the liner notes - I did open the document, though :) If I don't start it today, there's always tomorrow and Friday. Definitely want to be finished with them by Friday, though.

Well I'm doing weight watchers again. They redid the whole point system. So, all the stiff I knew in my head doesn't work anymore. So, I'm going to have to learn the system again, but that's no biggie. I do the online version and can just type in my food as the day goes on and it calculates it for me

Yogi & Craig came inside while I played outside with Sherlock. He was a total brat and wouldn't stay standing & facing the camera unless I was very firm resulting in a sad face. I took one photo of nothing. By the time I clicked to take the photo he had already reached me. ;D

Thanks Jane

I need photo shop on my computer to brighten that one up. I didn't dare take the time to zoom in as this is the exact same shot I have, minus the dog.

The thing I like most about weight watchers is you can eat a lot of food and can eat whatever you want as long as you balance it out points wise. I really need to get back into my Wii again and start using the treadmill down the basement. I don't like to go to gyms in January. There are too many people there with colds etc.

DR TCB - Whew!

Sherlock looking away from me.

I want it to snow, darn it.

What a relief, DR TCB!
I remember when I was in Tennessee a couple of years ago I walked to an ATM and the guy who was using it before me got his card snatched up by the machine...he had put it in the wrong slot (why there was a wrong slot, I don't know).
After that I chose not to use the machine. Had I lost my card I would have been stranded in DELIVERANCE with no money.

Danise we are on at the same time! :o :D

I haven't posted a photo in a very long time so I'm not sure if I still know how. I'm going to try but if I throw us into wide screen I'll just back in a delete it.
It's a photo of Sheena and Toby last night on the couch.

This morning when it was snowing I canceled my 3:00 PT appointment & of course it stopped snowing. Keith said he was going to go to the gym so I called the therapist back & his 11:00 appointment had just canceled. Keith dropped me off for PT and picked me up across the street at the library.
The way my shoulder has been I really needed to keep the appointment. My flexibility is better than he expected and my ability to build muscle, the cause of my pain, worse. He said he also forgets how serious my surgery was because most of his clients with the same surgery happened from old age, not an injury. Basically I'm in the old, white hair, stooped category. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry. ;D

Well, it uploaded to Facebook.
-
I guess I have forgot how.
Danise, under the box where you type your message when you click on "Reply" or "Quote," there's a link, "Additional Options..." If you click on that, additional options appear and that's where you can upload a picture.
Thanks George. Do I have to resize the photo or will it do it on it's own? I remember throwing us into widescreen mode before.

And I can't begin to tell you how happy I am seeing you posting all week long. In case you haven't figured it out yet, Danise, you are quite loved at this site. So don't stay away so long.
-
I think if it is small enough for facebook it will work here.

Sherlock looking away from me.
I never would have guessed he's looking away from you ;)
;D He was such a brat. My yelling at him to stay still resulted in two reactions, either he ran and attacked me or sulked. Either way, not the photo I wanted.
Did you try saying "Say Cheese" ?

LOL Cilla.

If the file is too big (larger than 256 KB), you won't be able to upload it...but a hot link from another website like Facebook of Photobucket will work.

Even bored at Christmas Sherlock was expressive.

Thank you, DR Jane.
Well, I tried to post the photo but got a message that it might be to big of a file. I guess you guys will have to pop over to Facebook to see it. I don't know how to resize a photo on my Apple. I haven't had the time to mess with this computer--in fact that's one of the things I've been doing this week. Trying to learn some of the software it has.
For example, I bought the Sims3 for it awhile back and this week was the first time I've had a chance to play with it. I made a Sim called Dani Blaine. :)
-
In the background Bryan & Kate. Bryan forgot Kate had stuck a little hair clip in his hair.
-
What a relief, DR TCB!
Sounds like the fulfillment of a lot of your fantasies!
-

-
They look soooo cute.
-
LOL. I was just about to post Sheena and Toby but you beat me to it, DR Jane
-
Thank you Jane. How did you do that?
-
Danise, it is really good to see you here. Even after you get busy you must stop by
-
I have had a number of interesting people contact me through the years to sell me various Farmer goodies. I got Frances' passport that way,
That's why she never travels abroad any more.
-
DR Danise - Sheena and Toby look pretty relaxed, too!
-
Thank you Cilla, I will really try. I think I've been worn out. I didn't take a vacation all this year. I need to make more time for myself but like I explained, it's really intense at work right now.
I've been scared to take time off because of all of the cuts. If you take a week or so off and they find they can get along without you.....
I only took this week off because the new boss is out having surgery and at least 2 others took this time off as well.
-
Sometimes when it's stressful, I find stopping here to chat a little can help me cheer up
-
DR Danise - Sheena and Toby look pretty relaxed, too!
I think they like having "mommy" home with them.
They run around all day and are pretty pooped come nightfall.
That Toby is really something. They know him at work as Toby the Terrible because he takes everything and puts it in the back yard. Sometime he destroys it and sometimes not but I can't begin to tell you the list of things I've had to replace--including the mask for my sleep apnea machine.
Imagine the phone call I had to make to medical supply company--I need new mask ASAP because my dog ate the one I have!
I have since learned to hang it on the lamp beside the bed and to shut my door (doesn't always work--he opens it somehow sometimes) to protect things there.
-
Oh and my brand new glasses. I wear them when I'm trying to watch TV in bed so I can give my eyes a rest from the contacts. i fell asleep with them on a few days after I got them and to my horror when I woke up, I couldn't find them in the bed. Then I found them on the couch all chewed up.
Toby the Terrible must have taken them off of my face and had his way with them!
-
What a relief, DR TCB!

I am sure that everyone is expecting me to make some comment reagarding squealing like a pig.
-
Thank you Jane. How did you do that?
I right clicked on the fb photo and then clicked on "copy image location". I then clicked on the 2nd from the left, bottom row, icon above (http://) and placed the image location inside of it.

I somehow expect they have heard that one before. Do you have a drawer you can keep it in? I hope Toby doesn't try to take it off your face.

And as DR FJL pointed out on All That Chat, Rob Ashford has succeeded in creating the most condescendingly gay choreography since The French Mistake in BLAZING SADDLES.
Dan (the Man) - Below is the post on All That Chat. I'm flip-flopping back and forth on it. I'm thinking right now that it might be correct for what people who didn't know Jerry Herman's work was all about. But I also wonder if this was edited down from something much longer.
It's John_Patti who said the Mel Brooks thing:
----------------
Kennedy Honors /Jerry Herman Segment / Choreographer?
Posted by: John_Patti 05:55 pm EST 12/29/10
Who choreographed the Jerry Herman segment of last night's televised Kennedy Center Honors? We were hysterical watching it, something right out of a Mel Brooks spoof. Could the pace have been any faster, moves any more manic and winks to the audience any more embarrassing? The material deserved a much more traditional presentation than the freight train which roared through the tribute. The guys were cute but I felt bad for them.

In the background Bryan & Kate. Bryan forgot Kate had stuck a little hair clip in his hair.
That's okay, Jane, you don't have to explain anything to us. We are all quite liberal here.

The choreography was typical Ashford - terrible.

;D The location of the clip is a bit silly.

I didn't you all about poor Bonny (my car). The Tuesday before Christmas I had to stop off at the local CVS to pick up a perscription. I realized I had forgotten to get some ketchup so I thought I would go into SweetBay (grocery store) to get some.
Next thing I know they are paging someone driving a 4 door Ford SUV to come to the front desk. I though I had forgotten to put her in park or something like that. It was a lady with a bunch of kids who was nice enough to admit that she had swung into the parking space next to me and didn't notice that there was a shopping cart there.
Her truck hit the cart and rammed it into Bonnys rear passenger door.
She gave me her insurance info and long story short--she did $1,200 worth of damage. They can't even save the door--I'll have to have a new one.
I'll take Bonny in on Monday to the repair shop. With the Holidays, they couldn't get the parts right away.
I felt really bad for the lady. She had about 4 kids with her and she said her husband has cancer and had kemo (spelling?) that morning. He was so sick she was trying to just get him something to settle his stomach.
I totally understood how she could have had that happen. I wish I could have let her go but I don't have the money (even with insurance) to fix that big of a problem. If it had just been a scratch, I would have.
BTW, not to brag but after 5 years, Bonny still only has 27,000 miles on her. When I take her places to be worked on, no one can believe it.
-
Oh, Danise, I'm sorry to hear about Bonny. I was wondering about her.
-
Nice clip. ;)
-
You are very fortunate the woman didn't drive off. Vibes to her and her family!!!!
-
I remember when you bought Bonny. So sorry about the damage.
-
Nice clip. ;)
Kate has a family tradition of Christmas poppers, the ones that come with paper crowns & prizes inside the poppers. I almost forgot to get them this year. The clip was the best of the prizes.
-
Thanks, DR Ginny. It really is quite a big dent. The repair shop guy said that when he read the report, he thought it was a minor scratch. When he saw the door he knew the roll bar was bent in so far that if they pulled it back out, it might not be safe.
-
Well, only one more day till the weekend, so....................
G'night!
I think I will try dropping in here tomorrow! ;D
-
Got a call from the mail place - apparently soon after I left five boxes arrived - four of them are my books - I had none of the current one, and no Rewind or Murder at the Grove - that situation has been rectified.
-
You are very fortunate the woman didn't drive off. Vibes to her and her family!!!!
It was VERY nice of her not to drive off. Given her circumstances I couldn't have found in my heart to really blame her.
I did ask the insurance company if she was going have to pay anything out of pocket. I was worried that the kids might not get Christmas gifts. I would assume it was their Dad that was sick and Lord knows having gone though the same thing with my Father, I know that money would be very tight.
I don't know what it will do to her renewal rate but at least I was assured that she wouldn't have to pay a dime.
-
Goodnight, DR TCB! I'll be here when you do drop by! :)
-
Page 7 Dance!!!!
-
Danise do you have Monday off as a holiday?
-
My money has been found!
And it has been returned to my account (in the nick of time). Thank you all for your good wishes. HHW vibes do it again.
I'm curious if they gave you any info about what happened and how they found your money.

DR Jane wrote:
Thanks. How many episodes are left for THE CLOSER?
Well I"m still on Season 5. But since there seem to be 15 episodes a season I think this could be right:

6-14 27/Dec/10 Living Proof: Part Two
6-15 03/Jan/11 An Ugly Game

Danise do you have Monday off as a holiday?
I had to put in for a half a day off because I drop her off at nine. I was told they would have Enterprise pick me up so I could get a rental car to use in the mean time. It will take a week before Bonny will be ready but I'm hoping I can pick her up on Saturday.
-
Don't really know why I'm so sleepy tonight, except that I ate sliced turkey for dinner - Richard and I finished off all the Christmas leftovers. I think I'll go to bed and read for a while - 'night!
-
They also got Wii fit. Not sure what that includes.
I like Wii fit and I like the Wii resort. Lots of games. On Wii Fit you can create yourself as a character, weigh in, track your weight, do all sorts of exercises and yoga. It's pretty cool
Well I probably won't get to do Wii fit too much as I doubt my niece would want to do that.
I asked her if we could do Dance Play once a week for my exercise. And she thought about it. I think she will probably say yes. Or else she can just watch me do it. I think I may need to practice because she was beating me. Still not exactly sure how to copy them whey they turn sideways and go fast (you are supposed to mirror them).
-
'Night, Ginny. I think I'm going to sign off as well and see what is on the boop tube.
Good night all!

I wonder if the insurance will cover your lost pay. Did you ask if you can leave the car on Friday & pick up the loaner?

I"m guessing there is still another summer season and then it will finish next winter?
-
DR jane, re: the closer season 7.
There will still be 15 more episodes next year (2011). Just not sure if they will split them up or when they will start.
-
Now I'm happy!
-
Oh did you think that season 6 was the end? (of the Closer).
When season 5 finishes here I may just watch season 6 on the internet so I can catch up.
-
I need to go do some more reading. That book I was waiting for at the library (the mixup that is the final book in a series i love) is so good. I am at page 200 of 600. Not sure how fast to read. I am doing 100 pages a day right now.
Are you guys reading anything good now?
-
Our winter storm has begun.
and we get that one on Friday into Saturday and it will merge over us with the one coming from the west..... Needless to say we are getting a b-slapping from mother nature.
-
Well, I've registered for my January classes. One is in creative nonfiction writing. The course sounds like a big crock. Better get it over with in my opinion. The other is on society and education. That should be more fun.
Good luck with your classes John. They sound interesting. Where are you taking classes?
-
I am the proud owner of a rather heavy cut glass punchbowl (and matching stand) given to "Nancy" from Frances Farmer. :)
Very cool!
Beautiful bowl!

I an only imagine!

I finished reading MARCH for my book group. I wish I had read more about Louisa May Alcott and her family prior to reading the book. I don't recommend this even though I normally like the author. It is better than I expected it to be. If Louisa May Alcott had wanted a book about the father's travels during the time of LITTLE WOMEN she would have written one and I expect it would have been better than MARCH.

Congratulations to TCB on the Recovery of his Funds

In regards to snow, we are nearly 2-times above our average for snow in December. We normally get around 45 inhes for the entire winter... We are sitting at 40 inches as of today. The Devils Lake basin is sitting at 55 inches and that does not even count for what is coming...

If you come visit me on Friday, you will see snow
and in ND we can show you a blizzard.

In the completely nutty department: I've been having an e-mail correspondence with some overseas guy - he wrote me to ask if there was any way he could get the Calisthenics cue from Carrie the way it is in the film, with that orchestration with synths. I wrote back and told him that I had no idea what he was talking about - they are the same - our CD matches the film exactly in every way. He argues with me and says he'll so an audio sample of the film scene and our CD and send it to me. This he just did. The film scene is as I knew it would be - but his audio sample purportedly from our CD has no synths, which is, in a word, impossible. So, I just asked him to please explain to me in detail exactly where he got the track with only the rhythm section, because it most certainly was not from our CD. My guess - someone has done something illegal somewhere.

Somehow I don't think the nutty fellow is going to respond to me - he clearly does not own our CD so why he was writing to me, other than maybe trying to get me to send him an mp3 of that specific track is anyone's guess.

My lord the choreography was god awful. The director should have reeled him.
Curious all the other perfomers were introduced before singing but Angela Lansbury wasn't.

B Daltons has closed in Grand Forks..... That means except for UND's bookstore and a used bookstore, there are no bookstores left in Grand Forks. I am glad there is a Barnes and Noble at least in Fargo. I love to go and browse in there... I have been known to kill at least two or three hours in Barnes and Noble adn if I leave with one book I have done quite well....
-
Now I have to find a way to pay for them. I have applied for financial aid.
GOOD LUCK & I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR CLASSES!!
Thank you much.
-
How much do classes like that cost nowadays?
-
Just being lazy. I think liner notes will be tomorrow - just not in the mood tonight.

Depending on where you are it can cost up to and over 2000 a semester if you are a grad student and perhaps a bit less if you are an undergraduate. It boils down to where you are taking classes This does not include the cost of books and tearing your hair out. :-)
-
I am taking just one class and it is just under 900 and that does not include the two books for the class

I gotta tell you.

And I can't begin to tell you how happy I am seeing you posting all week long. In case you haven't figured it out yet, Danise, you are quite loved at this site. So don't stay away so long.
What he said.

Lawsy, I just dodged a karmic and perhaps even a legal bullet. We had let the current tenants out of the lease but had agreed (with them) on a lease termination fee that was about 2x their monthly rent. I just found out a few minutes ago Oregon law requires lease breakage fees not exceed 1.5 times monthly rent. So I just called the tenants and gave them the good news. Less good news for us, but it was the right thing to do of course.
-
Watching "Swing Time." This is my favorite of the Astaire-Rogers pictures. The choreography is certainly better than Rob Ashford's.
-
I think I am going to turn in for the night and try and get rid of this cold....
Nighters and pleasant dreams to you alll
