BTW, the lay off has nothing to do with her taking a part in the play, they just happened at the same time.

I am glad you clarified that.

So suddenly her employer is doing away with her position, and she is being laid off.

What a shame.

She said she has really liked what she has read so far.

Good.

Page six.  Better than page three.

Yes, that is encouraging.

Off rehearsal.  I don't know if the other ASM will be there tonight or not.  He wasn't able to be there last night, so we'll see.  Otherwise, it's all been going fairly well, so far.

Until later.

The other ASM was there, tonight.  The two shows rehearsed and all went really well.  Tomorrow night, I still have to be there at the theater because there's a TAO board meeting.

Did anyone watch the first episode of WESTWORLD?

I recorded it.  Hopefully, I'll get to watch it fairly soon.

I always wished the revival of She Loves Me that BK recorded had had Judy Kuhn on it instead of her replacement. Seth Rudetsky posted this video of her singing Vanilla Ice Cream today, and she acts the hell out of the song. I love the look on her face when she gets to the "Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde" part. Enjoy.

Does anyone know why/how this was recorded?

She has worked for the same employer for 33 years, and finally she was ready to go back on stage in IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.
So suddenly her employer is doing away with her position, and she is being laid off.

Oh, no!  That's terrible! :(

I assume that she's not (financially) able to retire? :-\

Too young.

I'm at a similar age.  I have 28 years in, but I still need to work (at least) another 16 years until I'm (at least) 67 years old.  I'll then have worked for the library for 44 years.
