Larry, did he screw up big? Does that mean he intended to send the check and didn't send it?
And the word of the day is: WEALD!
The check is in the bank
Thank you all for the vibes, DRs! HHW Vibes are the best!
Thank you all for the vibes, DRs! HHW Vibes are the best!
You're welcome. Now where's OUR check???
It may not be a stage play or a movie, but I am back in my directing mode and loving it.
Four of my books/plays are in various stages of production as audio books. The first one is, in fact, finished and should be available before the end of the month.
On the other three, I'm working with the voice actors almost on a daily basis, giving them notes, etc.
I didn't realize how much a missed this.
Sleeping vibes to DR Jane.
and the check is in my postal carrier's hands! He just called, and I am going over to the PO in the next 15 minutes. Then, I will head for the bank and deposit it.
Scott, my regular carrier, is the absolute best! I really do appreciate him and, when he retires this year, I will sorely miss him. I find the problem at the local PO, which I consider the worst in the City, is that the management is a bunch of morons. Last week, I sent the Post Office a request to have my mail held while I'm in Dublin. Scott has not yet received the request from the management.

Collected my new glasses this morning and whilst out had fried egg and bacon for breakfast. It tasted perfect and, with my new glasses, looked perfect as well.
~~~~~INFECTION-BE-GONE VIBES TO DR MIKE~~~~~
Oh...Probably not, as there is an Austin version of the book and SXSW is very Austin-centric. Still, it's something to mention to the publisher ...
DR JohnG - Are you working out some sort of cross-promo with your book with the folks at SXSW?
DR JRand - So... Just how many shows are you working on right now?
Good news from DR ELMORE!!
That sounds like such fun DR DRUXY.....and NO worry about blocking!
I notice that I continually type "invioce" instead of "invoice" and "clarient" instead of "clarinet." Is this dyslexic typing?
I just got the Region 2 DVD of THE CRYING GAME, which has a lot of extras not on the Region 1 disc, including the original ending and the director's commentary. I think I'll watch that tomorrow night.
I'm gonna record with Stephen Rea next week! Now I have to watch THE CRYING GAME again.
Well TMM opens today. I am working on the photo album for the website, since I just got the photos last night.
And THE WEDDING is tomorrow, so I am getting ready for that.
Of course one of the groomsmen who was chosen six months ago said yesterday that he has NO black jacket and no $$$ to buy one. So we've been looking around. I think I have one that will fit him.....but it's just one more annoyance.
I've learned it is best to hand the hold request to the mail carrier or leave it in our mail box. I have also left two requests, one at the post office & one in the box. If nothing important is expected I stop delivery the day before to make sure it went through. Most of all, I find it easier to have my neighbor pick up my mail for me. We do the same for her.
DR elmore - Can you activate your hold at the Post Office online? I've found this to be the most efficient way to get it done since the notification seems to go directly to the postal scanners/computer system.
USPS - Hold Mail Service (https://holdmail.usps.com/holdmail/)
And I mean suspicious links, of course.
In any case...
I should get ready for Day Three of my TheatreWorks "boot camp". We'll start putting the show on its feet today, so I won't have to do much teaching today. However, I will be having to figure out just how much of the underscore I will need or not need to use. Additionally, I'll have to figure out my cueing for various sections and entrances. I suspect I will be doing a lot of "sniff cues".
Sniff cues? Isn't that when the actor actually dies?
So, i just got an email from Dublin, and the one gltch I thought we had for our final orchestra runthrough is resolved and all is good. Now, if only the Medicare-IRS probelem would resolve so easily!
Yes, but you are only supposed to do it when she is out of town! ;)
DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS IN A TWEET OR ON FACEBOOK!
-That will most likely just register your twitter account/Facebook account/IP address with the sender of said spam. -I really don't need to see myself tagged in another picture of sneakers on Facebook. ::)
elmore, the IRS problem you are having is in regards to your Medicare, and not your Social Security check?
Sorry. You should have seen the expression on my face when the good looking director asked me if I was ready for the Sitzprobe.
You're right! It's IRS and Social Security. Until the SS clicks in, though, I have to pay Medicare myself.
How long do you have to wait until the SS kicks in?
I am very disappointed. I just tried to get tickets to Peter Pan for Mae-Ling and Wae-Ling. I was hoping to get two seats beside my season tickets. Not only were they sold, but there are only single seats anywhere in the decent seat section.
Is that the Cathy Rigby / WSMA tour of PETER PAN?
January 12.
Wouldn't you think it would have been early enough?
I'm told package should be arriving between two-thirty and three. Meanwhile, even more Dear Brigitte drama - the plant called and alerted the printer that there was a problem on the tray cards - something to do with track numbers in the first column having shifted over slightly to the right, thereby covering up the first letter of each track. I'd made a revision before printing and apparently in doing that fix, this happened, and then no one caught it, including the designer when he approved the film. So, since we're a little behind anyway, the printer is reprinting it gratis and it will be to the plant on Tuesday and we'll ship CDs on Wednesday. I'm quite ready for this day to be over.
Cathy Rigby is in it, but I don't think Donny Osmond is.
The meeting went well, and I think we will get our best from one and all. I am getting quite excited about the upcoming travel.
I fully expected to see a full report on the new show that recently debuted on TLC , but so far I've been seriously disappointed.That's the kind of show that makes me glad I don't watch TV. Of course, I had to read an article about it though. I couldn't resist. All my white trashiness came flooding to the surface. Made me long for the days when I lived in a mobile home. ;D
Come on, guys!
Won't you "holla for a dolla Honey Boo Boo"? (http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/tv/here-comes-honey-boo-boo)
I'm afraid it was in the "before" picture.
So, are you taking bids from people who'll want you to leave it to them in your will 40 or 50 years from now?
In case anyone's interested and didn't know, Ms. Streisand has added additional concerts:
October 8: Philadelphia
October 17: Montreal
October 20: Ottawa
October 23: Toronto
October 26: Chicago
October 29: Vancouver
Why can I get Row Five tickets to see Barbra for $850.00 a piece in Vancouver, but I would have had to mortgage Nicky to be in the same hemisphere with Streisand in Brooklyn?
It is time to wend my way to the Lincoln Center Library for my production meeting. On the way, I will stop at the pharmacy and any place else that strikes my fancy.Why would you want to strike your fancy? What did it ever do to you? :) Most unseemly.
Does TCB go to bed at 6 PM or is he just going to dinner?
Evening all!
Here's hoping the landscaping turns out wonderful for DR Jane and DH Keith!
Sheena took her splint off and I will have to get her to the vet to have it put back on. I feel sorry for her because I know it is uncomfortable.
I feel sorry for me because it makes my wallet uncomfortable as well.
In case you ever wondered about it, the Thunder shirts really do work. I heard thunder, put the Thunder Shirts on the dogs and within five minutes the thunder was gone! Amazing! I don't know how it did that! ;)
I believe he goes to bed early, or used to when he worked, but I doubt this early. When I say 'night around seven I'm just getting off for the night, not going to sleep.
If not, I'm sure TCB will correct it. He's never one to be shy. :)
Hey, all, the check vibes worked. I came home to one in the mail box. Check vibes for all!
Me, I've just been slaving over a hot laserdisc player, working on SHOW BOAT transfers which are coming along quite nicely.
Cilla, I hope that RAV4 recall doesn't apply to your new car.
We went to our old neighborhood for an estate sale, where I found 3 tablecloths that match some holiday placements and napkins that I've had for 25 years. Then we went to the West Chester Library and to dinner at Bravo Italian Cucina. Fortunately, we didn't get caught in the thunderstorms that are all around us.You can send the rain this way.
DR Cillaliz - I hope you get to take your new bike out for a spin soon! ;)
Crap. I think our air conditioning just quit working.
