I've been up for a while - CDs did not arrive and we are STILL trying to figure out what happened and what to do.

So, i just got an email from Dublin, and the one gltch I thought we had for our final orchestra runthrough is resolved and all is good. Now, if only the Medicare-IRS probelem would resolve so easily!

elmore, the IRS problem you are having is in regards to your Medicare, and not your Social Security check?

You're right! It's IRS and Social Security. Until the SS clicks in, though, I have to pay Medicare myself.

How long do you have to wait until the SS kicks in?

Until the IRS mess is cleared up.

Thank you DR ELMORE.

DR TCB - I don't think there is a costumer listed for the Wedding....if there is, I hope it's NOT me.

I am very disappointed. I just tried to get tickets to Peter Pan for Mae-Ling and Wae-Ling. I was hoping to get two seats beside my season tickets. Not only were they sold, but there are only single seats anywhere in the decent seat section.

What a morning.  CDs will now not be here until Monday, as the helper is not available tomorrow.  The plant had a machine go down yesterday, thanks to the 110 degree heat in Valencia.  And then the shrink wrap machine went down, too.  Apparently, it never occurred to anyone to pass along this information.  So, I'm going to deduct the cost of the helper for today from my next invoice and I told them this cannot happen again.  They will be ready tomorrow, but I've told them repeatedly I need three days' notice for the helper.  It's really annoying because that means next week is the potential of also shipping the Baja and Junior High stuff.

Is this to see the Cathy Rigby production?  Tell me the date.

BK:

Something that DID arrive is the hardcover copy of "There's Mel".  And it's lovely.  Thank you!

Now, I happen to possess the ability to read or skim completely through a paperbound book leaving not so much as a fingerprint or any other evidence that it was read.  Seriously.  That first copy you sent is still in its original condition -- (as, btw, is my "Album Produced By..." after TWO readings) -- in case you can use it, or want it sent on to someone else.  And thanks again for sending it on ahead of the other.

I even asked if there were two and two, so DR Sandra and I could split up with the kids. Nope. And I checked on different days. Nope.

Back from a good water aerobics class, which really helped with the stiffness I was feeling after yesterday's treadmill/NuStep workout.

It is time to wend my way to the Lincoln Center Library for my production meeting. On the way, I will stop at the pharmacy and any place else that strikes my fancy.

It may not be a stage play or a movie, but I am back in my directing mode and loving it.

Four of my books/plays are in various stages of production as audio books.  The first one is, in fact, finished and should be available before the end of the month.

On the other three, I'm working with the voice actors almost on a daily basis, giving them notes, etc.

I didn't realize how much a missed this.

Cool!

Cathy Rigby is in it, but I don't think Donny Osmond is.

Chas, just give it to a friend.  Also, now that you're several books into my oeuvre, please feel free to write amazon reviews - they're very helpful and the more the merrier and the merrier the more.

Laura since it's so far away, just write me at the end of December and I can ask Brent Barrett (Captain Hook) to arrange house seats for you - you have to pay but they'll be great seats.  So you're covered.

Is there a waiting list in case tickets are returned?

It feels like it but no.  Yesterday the landscaper came & tagged the plants that were not to be removed.  Then, using a different color, he tagged the trees that were to be cut down.
