Whew! What a busy night of viewing I've had!

I began by finishing the last two GUNSMOKE episodes I had to watch. One of them was one of the best ones in the set.

Yes, a Blu-ray player connected by the HDMI cable and set to display Blu-rays at 1080p will automatically upconvert standard DVDs from 480i/p to 1080p.

Well, the tandem bike enthusiasts are quite civilized and close to our age, but the busload of teenagers that just checked in might be problematic.  As Richard and I were leaving our room for dinner, a group of them were in the hall and one said to another, "We have old people by us!"  Ha-rumph!

Chuckle, chuckle.

There were only two notable guest stars in the remaining two episodes I watched: Simon Oakland in the first one and Jack Cassidy in the second.

DR George, vibes you are super pleased with your new computer!

Thanks, Jane.  The estimated delivery date is June 3rd, so it'll be a while before I actually get it.  But, I'm having it delivered to my work so I don't have to guess what time it might be delivered...or have to have it redirected and wait another day or two to get it.  We receive UPS and other deliveries every day at work, so it's a regular stop on their run.

If you aren't at work when it arrives will someone call you?  I like you can have things delivered there & no one minds.

Next, I watched another episode from the NCIS Second Season box set. This one had to do with a petty officer who was having hallucinations. I had the murderer figured out but then changed my mind right before the revelation. Of course, my original choice was the correct one.

After that I watched SMALLVILLE from LAST week! I had put it off more than a week, and seeing the quality of the episode, I can see why I did. I must have sensed it was going to be a stinker. I think this week's season finale will be my last-ever SMALLVILLE episode. I really grown impatient with the series.

Any one watch the program on Farrah Fawcett?

I set it to record.  I'm not sure how much of it we will watch.  Did you see it?

Next I watched CSI: NY from Wednesday night. (I haven't gotten to the season finale which aired on Thursday night, so I don't know yet who dies.)

This episode took two of the stars to Greece to solve a theft and murder. Merely an OK episode.

Next I watched this week's LAW & ORDER episode. Pretty good case that involved a switch-around on the defendant which was very interesting.

David Lansbury was the principal guest star.

And I ended my evening of viewing with tonight's GHOST WHISPERER. Except for the lovely ending, I think this might have been one of the weakest episodes of the season, mainly because it was a showcase for Jaime Kennedy, and I just don't care for him or his character on the show.

I'm heading downstairs to bed now. This is the earliest I'll be heading for bed this week, I think.

Good night!

I've finished one motion picture and am watching another - Warner Archive titles both.  Hard to go back to regular DVD after the rather startling clarity of Blu-Ray - I was watching a little 2001 last night - have never seen it even approach this sort of detail - amazing, really.

Page six is unacceptable.  Page seven is acceptable - barely.

The weed and feed I used last week didn't kill the weeds just made them deformed.  And it left my yard striped light and dark green.  It's quite interesting actually.  It made me laugh

Glad I decided not to do the 5K tomorrow. It's supposed to be in the 40s and very windy at the time the race starts.  I'd rather be in my office where it's warm

I did get the yard mowed tonight and brought in some iris and some lilacs.  My living room smells very nice

I have decided not to go to my parents' tomorrow.  I have lots and lots to do at the office and want to be there alone where I can get things done without interruption
