But it's a nice room, and the decor of the hotel is quite interesting.  It seems like they updated every decade or so without really get rid of the "old decade".  I stopped into the restaurant/lounge earlier just to check it out.. flocked wallpaper, plexiglass ceiling light fixtures, 70's mod patterned fabric on the chairs, etc... Truly eclectic.  Groovy.

lol. Hotel/motel decor would be an interesting subject for a book. Need an project, DR LAURA? :)

Umm... I'm a bit too tired to dance.  We can just dance in our heads.

Even with my nightly ice cream, I think I'm actually losing a little weight.  I'm eating a lot healthier, so I feel better. Wish it would get warm enough to start riding my bike.

There's always the stairs. Boring, though.

I love this photo. It's from a story about a friend's wildlife rescue center. the baby squirrel was injured and had dog bites on it's face

It's been warm enough around here for a while now, and as soon as the road construction and new sidewalks are done, I'm going to walk to work whenever I can...unless I (to paraphrase Sondheim) wake too weak to walk to work. ;)  That's really the main reason that I wanted to move to where I moved.  It's less than a mile from where I work! ;D

Time to leave work and watch TV that I'm (hopefully!) recording.  Until later. :)

....And a few months ago, I happened to spot Chicken Livers in a Cream Sauce on a restaurant menu.  Soooo good.  Talk about gilding the lily!

If you ever visit Seattle / Tacoma, we will have to go eat at 13 Coins.  They have the best chicken liver saute with mushrooms and onions.  Yum!

That is the cutest little squirrel. We don't have tree squirrels out here.

I finished MURDER BY DECREE this evening, and it was just as enjoyable as I remembered it being. I know it was made on a small budget, and I think they did well with their resources.

I was going to watch a MONK episode from Season 2, but I got a phone call that turned out to be lengthy so I just took it out of the player and put it away. Tomorrow, I'll want to start on some DVDs I haven't already watched.

THE OFFICE was indeed hilarious. Poor Michael is just so clueless and juvenile in so many ways. Karen is making me like her less and less. I'm ready for Jim to admit that he hasn't forgotten about Pam.

Glad to see Andy back, even if only for a few seconds and a hilarious capper at the end of the episode. Dwight made me laugh a lot tonight, too.

30 ROCK had a good show with Will Arnet playing a gay NBC executive whom Alec Baldwin tries to distract by using Kenneth the (nerdy) page. "You're the worst gay bait in history," Alec screams at him late in the show. Priceless.

SCRUBS lost one of its regulars tonight, so the episode was mainly about saying goodbye. In spite of that, the show was funnier than it's been in weeks. I liked the episode this week.

And I finished the evening with CSI, another episode I wasn't really crazy about. Once again, the two cases overlapped, and some of the folks with really surly attitudes got by with what amounted to slaps on the wrist. Not to my liking.

I did set the DVR to pick up tonight's ANDY BARKER, P.I. even though I haven't been thrilled with the show thus far. I'll watch it tomorrow before settling in with some DVDs that have been watching to be viewed.
