KEEPING UP
« on: April 05, 2007, 01:31:00 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, you've kept up with the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're keeping up and doing the Limbo at the same time.

If anyone wants to order CDs from this current batch, now would be the time, otherwise they're going back to storage over the weekend, and the next batch will be up for your perusal by Monday.

maybe if I did I would be a more interesting person, but anything that can qualify as "odd" disturbs me....

Why did this TOD come about anyway? Were you eating something odd?

Oddest foods for me - eaten in Lancaster County PA.

Scrapple and Shoo Fly Pie. (not together but at the one meal).

I doubt I'd bother with either again.

How did you dress your scrapple (syrup, ketchup, apple sauce)?

Brylcream - a little scrapple do you.

I don't remember the meal that well der Brucer - it was over a decade ago.

I suspect they don't market scrapple in OZ.
(It would compete with your FAGGOTS!)

The term Faggots is in fact not used here (Certainly not in this State - anything could happen in Queensland) in the food sense der Brucer - It is UK origin I think.

The closest we get to scrapple is "bubble and squeak" which is also not marketed - just the term here for fried up left overs. I doubt anyone under 40 uses the term these days - or would even consider using left overs in that way.

"bubble and squeak"

Which was prominently featured in a "Two Fat Ladies" cooking show.

OK I'm back.  Feeding dogs was the priority as it should be.  I know who is in charge around here. 10,000 means nothing to them unless it is attached to a word such as biscuit. (Cookie they would not understand).
