I arrived very quickly---feet first. I was ready to hit the ground running! (Thursday's child has far to go...maybe that's why we moved so much.)

Cilla-Thanks for posting another water tower.  Do you have any more, they are fun to see.

Are you saying the water towers are unofficial?  They are too good to be painted over.

These are official they come from the Saturday in the Park posters. There are areas on the other side of the tower that they paint a solid background for the grafitti artists (as opposed to gang members putting up their marks). They do some good things, but they do get painted over.

I think there are more in my other computer. I'm just waiting for the phone to ring, so let me see if I can find them

She said us guys are making her glad. I didn't say a word about it. It's YOUR fault, Jane!

Ok, you're right...

Edi, then we needed a closer view of the photo so we could see what Kitty was doing. ;D  I was very happy to see a photo of the cat on her desk :)

Bruce, that seems like a waste of money to destroy the sets.  I suppose they don't have room to save them.  I can't imagine they won't save the costumes.

DR Laura, were you labor the first time?  I almost had Bryan surgically removed, after 2 days of labor.

'night folks.  Keith is waiting to watch DREAMGIRLS.

Yes it is.  After all these years it is difficult to forget so many days of intense pain ;D

As difficult as it is to believe, I was once as tiny as Jane. They knew beforehand that a traditional entrance into the world was not going to happen with my son. Then, of course, as was usual in those days, DR Sandra was a repeat.

We have a boy!! (Ok, we knew it was going to be a boy) I'm not sure of his entire name, but I know they wanted to name him Gabe.  He was born at 9:00 P.M. and was 7 pounds and 2 ounces.  Considering her due date was the 19th, that's a good sized baby.  I don't have all the details, my niece called and I'm sure I'll hear from my mom momentarily

Did you see Harve Presnell or Ron Raines playing opposite Ms Reynolds?

I'll have to see if I can locate the program to see who was opposite her. I'm certain it wasn't Harve.

Thanks for keeping me company.  We were all getting concerned. Turns out they were spending time bonding before they told anyone.  They at least could have gotten word through the relatives in the waiting room.

I know kitty is in an episode 2 weeks from now---the one with French Stewart, which is a funny one, too. Next week's episode is very dark and suspenseful.

The picture of kitty on her desk is the one they used for the flyer when they thought kitty was lost. I like it---it's sort of a funny photo of kitty reaching out towards the camera.

Maybe they need one of our resident DR's who are good at wildlife documentation!

I burst out laughing the first time I noticed the double frame with Fritz on the left and Kitty on the right. So Brenda!

I had a busy night of viewing. I first finished THE ALPHABET MURDERS. I had thought I might want to make a DVD-R of it, but it's so lame that I just finished it and instantly deleted it.

Next, I finished the WILD WILD WEST episode with Ricardo Montalban as a magician who can bend time and space. Not a great episode, but my goodness but these color shows are gorgeous in the richness of the color.

Next, I watched one of the Miramax films I got in the mail today - NEVERWAS. Nope, I had never heard of it. Played in theaters in 2005 (or at least that's its copyright date), but this cast! What an amazing array of award winning actors:

Aaron Eckhart, Ian McKellan, William Hurt, Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange, Alan Cumming, Michael Moriarty. Brittany Murphy played the female love interest.

Had some interesting story points (a kind of a mystery uncovering why Nolte hanged himself), but the romance was lame, and some of those actors like Cumming and Moriarty were wasted as various psych patients in the mental hospital where Eckhart works.

I just loved THE CLOSER. It was as entertaining as last year's episode that focused on Flynn and Provinza. I was glad to see there were no residue hard feelings between Sgt. Gabriel and Brenda after last week's difference of opinion.

Next, I watched last night's ENTOURAGE, a funny episode with Drama wanting to date an old crush of his and Turtle along for the ride and stuck with a woman old enough to be his mother and someone he's totally not attracted to. And, as usual, Ari's scenes were amazingly acted by Jeremy Piven.

I ended the evening putting FORBIDDEN PLANET in the player and watching the first 15 minutes of it. Always enjoy revisiting it.

Back from the Q, which was surprisingly busy tonight...

I'm very sad to hear about the passing of Bubbles Sills. She was a great lady and did some wonderful things for Lincoln Center after she retired from performing. She will be missed.

And yes...my friend is a costume designer/wig stylist. He and his partner and I have an appointment for a night of fun with the various and sundry costumes, wigs, beards and moustaches they have at their apartment. I do believe a photo shoot is planned... :)
