Have any East Coasters gotten Follies yet?
No third coasters have gotten it.

Just a reminder that New York is just the center of New York.

Good morning, all! I slept poorly and I know that at some point this afternoon I will fall over in a daze. Even with two fans blowing on me, the apartment is too damned hot. If I don't go shopping for a portable AC this afternoon, it will happen tomorrow morning.

Last night during our final "Titus" rehearsal, the projector kept turning itself off!  At first, we didn't know what was happening, but we figured that it was just too hot in the little theater.  After the show, one of the actors noticed that the thermostat was turned UP! :o That got changed very quickly!  I said that I had a little clip-on fan and that I would bring it to help keep the projector cool, but I couldn't find it.  I'll go to the store and buy a new one.  I know I'll want another one if I've lost the first one.
Vibes for opening night, George.

Thanks, John!  And expect a package in the mail soon!
You shame me for getting these things done and in the mail so quickly.  And many thanks.

Well, I'm off to the theater for our official opening night!  Pug (the director) is going to have an opening night party at her house after the show...it'll be a long night!  But at least, I'll be able to sleep in in the morning...but not all day, though.  A woman who lives in the condo complex where I live (she's also the condo board president) invited me to a barbecue tomorrow.  She's invited a lot of her gay friends!  Maybe I'll meet someone. ;) One never knows...do one?  (a Fats Waller and Ain't Misbehavin' reference)

Be back later...much later!

"...so quickly"??  I felt like I had taken too long to get it all done!  Anyway, I really hope that nothing arrives broken. :-\

If anything does (for anyone), I'll be more than happy to re-send things! :D

Toby and Dylan were very quick to point out that the royal corgis looked like they hadn't missed a single opportunity for an extra helping of food or an extra between-meal snack in, like, ever.

Where's C-Span when you need it?

There should be a rule against political commercials during the Olympics.  I hit mute on all of them.

I hit mute on most commercials, period.  Makes for much saner TV watching.

So we know David Beckham is bringing the torch up the river.....do you think he'll kick a burning soccer ball to light it?   I doubt it, but it would be pretty cool

I want to see the back of one of the girls carrying the country  names.   Is it hooked around the waist?  What a strange contraption
