Is this the Mr. magoo Christmas Carol for which Styne and Merrill originally wrote "People"

(per imdb)

Actually, according to the new book on the cartoon, this information is incorrect, and that Styne and Merrill would not give the song, intended for FUNNY GIRL, to the Magoo producer.

I watched FRANKENSTEIN 1970 and listened to the entertaining commentary by Charlotte Austin, Tom Weaver, and Bob Burns.

I am heading home now (by way of a stop at Target.)

Hopefully, CRY FOR US ALL will also be in my home mailbox.

I had my copy sent to my work and it's not here, yet.  Hopefully, tomorrow for me.

I'm going to fiddle on the computer a little more and then head downstairs to finish that MEDIUM episode, scan through today's soap operas, watch THREE RIVERS, and then see what kind of time is left for other entertaining viewing.

Tonight is the 2 hour finale of HELL'S KITCHEN. I would love to be a fly on the wall re: their casting to know if they purposely try to pick the worst chefs.  They usually end up with a couple of okay ones at the end. But most of them are terrible!

I also got Liz Callaway's new album in today's mail. She and Guy Haines are my favorite contemporary vocalists for their musicality, phrasing, and way with a lyric. They both make me laugh and can move me to tears.

Another nap for me - where did that come from?  Hope I'm not coming down with something.

Back from a really nice lunch with a lot of interesting conversation, which could benefit Kritzerland in nice ways over the next few months.

It's been raining pretty steadily - our first rain in ages, which everyone has been praying and crying for.  Of course, as soon as we get a few hours of rain the entire city goes to hell - signals out, streets flooded and people driving as if they'd never been in a car before.  It is to laugh.

The Rains Came...and they stayed and stayed and stayed.

RE: last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS

DR Cillaliz, did you pick a favorite yet?

My favorite dance last night was melissa joan hart and mark. I don't think that she is the strongest dancer. But she was much improved last night. And he choreographed an amazing routine.

I also thought donny osmond was very good.

Obviously mya is the strongest dancer. But she really rubbed me the wrong way last night, telling dimitri which of his choreography she wanted to change. To me if a celeb can do their own choreography then they really are too good to be in this competition. It is about them learning from the professionals.

One of my previous favorites was so bad last night that i think he may get voted out (louie). I just thought that was awful. What was chelsie thinking???

I also dislike michael irvin and chuck lidell. And thought aaron carter had problems (but i do like him and karina).

I think derek and joanna were quite good too. It's amazing how mark and derek can take any partner they get and make them quite good. I like them both as choreographers.

I don't really have a favorite.   I think it's time for Michael Irvine and Chuck Lidell to go home. I think Chelsie made the same mistake Lacey did when she first started, she highlighted herself and left her partner just standing there. Not a good move in this competition

I like most of the others, not real fond of  Mya.  I wouldn't mind if one of many won

HUMONGOUS storm moved into the Bay Area overnight...it's remnants of the typhoon that devastated the Philippines a week or so back, but those remnants picked up strength.

Estimates are we could have 3-5 inches dumped on us "today".

Stay dry Vibes to Ron

I've been out in the gullywasher about three times today...my trousers got drenched EACH time...and now resemble something slept in over a long weekend by a college student at a frat party.

Sigh.   One more trek out in it...and that's in about 8 minutes as I trek toward the home enclave.

Well I certainly would.  One thing is for certain...there's no such thing as too much of a very good musical thing!!!

Speaking of musical things....where on earth is DAW today?   Did someone tell him to gird his loins and he got confused?
