This afternoon I was watering the plants, and I saw this Dutchman's Pipe flower (my first one):

And I saw this passion flower:

What is EVERYONE'S favorite moment from the movie THE SOUND OF MUSIC?

I know it's hard to choose.......

I love when the Captain starts to sing with the children....  :)

I love it most when it says, "THE END".

LOL....DR TCB....

DRs JANE & ADRIANNA PATTI have chosen some nicer moments.....

And then there is Eleanor Parker to Richard Hayden at the party:

"Why didn't you tell me."

"What?"

"To bring along my harmonica!"

Even more shocking DRJANE is that you are probably correct in a library funding referendum being defeated on the ballot....

Our Indianapolis City Library has had some renovation being done for nearly five years with charges of kickbacks and shoddy construction and all kinds of political wrangling.  The Library Board is in constant flux and turmoil.  Someone comes in to "fix" everything and less than a year later is ousted amid charges of theft and corruption.

Sad sad sad.....as Martha would say via Mr Albee.

We had a very nice salmon, wild rice and green bean dinner for Easter. No piggies were killed. No peeps were eaten either although I must say we both (Ant and I) love peeps.

Jose, congrats on one of three possibilities.

When the father and girlfriend are driving by and see the children in the trees. I laugh every time!

That scene also flashed in my mind.

Stay healthy vibes!

Very sad.

I must confess, as much as I believe in libraries I don’t want to pay the tax to “fix” what shouldn’t have happened.

There was something on the last ballet, we voted for, to cover expenses, if needed.  I don’t think the cost to the taxpayers was as high for that one & it didn’t pass.  Of course that was before the libraries actually closed.

I read the three hints that DR Jose posted last evening.  I understood the first and the third, but I didn't understand the second one.

In order to avoid jinxing Jose, could someone kindly e-mail or PM me what the second show might be?

Naw, it's not that obvious of a hint if you aren't thinking of that show.

Pretty flower DR Laura

Thanks. The Dutchman's pipe isn't much to look at, but it is the host plant for the pipevine swallowtail butterfly.   :)

It is amazing that after all the eggs we colored yesterday, we don't have any at all at our house.

JoAnn and I have had a great evening of television.  We had a wonderful dinner, with the Macbeths, my nephew Matt, his frend Ryan and Ryan's girlfriend, and Jo's daughter-in-law and grandson.  It was all quite friendly and festive.  When the guests cleared out, Jo and I watched a rock-bottom action film called THE SWEEPER with C. Thomas Howell, a giveaway, which we laughed through.  After that the first episode of THE SOPRANOS which was quite packed with incident.

Tomorrow, I have to deal with the attorney; we sold my dad's car yesterday and I need to take care of the tiitle transfer.  Tomorrow night, dinner with a friend I've kept missing over the past year, and then I return on Tuesday to NYC.  It's a hectic existence.

Good night, all!
