I usually get the mondito, but I really hadn't had anything else to eat so far, so I went big...kinda.
I don’t know what a mondito is.
Ready to leave for City Center. Since Thatch seems the most adult of my three little kittens, I'm putting him in charge while I'm out.

Not sure about Billy the Kid since I don't remember it. I agree with all of the others, especially The Magnificent Seven.
George, I’d like Kinky Boots and Much Ado, if it’s not a problem.
DR GEORGE I wouldn't mind everything EXCEPT RED....LOL. Thank you very much.
I just made that up - but I think I'll post it on Facebook and see how long it takes to reach Wikipedia.....
DR George 20 holds, wow. I thought 8 was a lot.
I don't like to check out more books than I have time to read within the 21 day time period.

Is that Lara's Theme? If so it is also one of my favorites. We asked for it to be played at our wedding.

That's why I keep my Kindle e-reader, download everything through a USB cable and don't turn on the Wi-Fi so they never go away. ;)

No. It's "Gone with the Wind."

You know it is rare that I can't read all of my books in time.
DR George thanks for the tip. Where do I find out if I have other library options in Washington? At some point I will not be able to renew my Ashland card.
Monday afternoon greetings! Late checking in here today because I’ve been addressing an after-effect of last Thursday’s procedure. Over the weekend I developed a rash that I thought might be an allergic reaction to the dye, but the cardiologist said not and that my primary care doctor should take a look. Just came from seeing the nurse practitioner at that office, awaiting the text notifying me that my Prednisone is ready to pick up at the pharmacy. NP Stacy thinks it’s a reaction to the adhesives or to the heavy duty blood thinners I received in the hospital.
DR Jennifer congrats on getting an advance copy of the latest D.D. Warren novel.

Well, I have a day job that takes up most of my reading time.

It looks like each library district individually establishes reciprocal agreements with other library districts. So for instance, I'm able to get a Pierce County Library card, a Seattle Public Library card, and a Puyallup Public Library card, among others. If you search your home library's name and something like "reciprocal agreements," you might find out which (if any) other libraries your specific library district has agreements with.

I know, right??
It is shocking. It is also a great way to keep track of the books you want to read.
I’m poorer but hopefully safer. I had to get a whole new set of tires.

I’m at 39 right now.

Oh, but there is the entire night time to read ;)

Nice! That looks like more than what Timberland has.
In Ohio, any resident of the state can get a library card from any public library in the state.

Too bad. I couldn't find anything regarding the Pierce OverDrive options. I guess I have to get a card first. Not today.
George I gratefully accept your offer to send all the shows. Thank you so much!
Last night I saw "Pete 'n' Keely" at Birdland. It starred George Dvorsky and Sally Mayes. They had done the show to great acclaim in 2001, I believe. It was a lot of fun!
Sorry, I just realized it should be John G. (with a space and a period)!
Listening to Weinberg's eighth symphony - a choral symphony and really more of a cantata, but with many wonderful moments.

Call me whatever you like. Just don't call me late for dinner.
(One of my favorite old jokes. I'm becoming another of my favorite old jokes.)
The reason I planned this trip to NYC was to see tonight's show: a one-night presentation of a reading of "The Importance of Being Earnest," starring the amazing Angela Lansbury. It was great to see her still acting in her 90's. It was really wonderful.

I like that. For people who live outside Bexar County but work, say, in downtown San Antonio, it's $25 a year for a library card.
Ginny, I hope the prednisone is working.

I did it online and it was pretty easy. I just had to wait a few hours to get my new library card number. Once I got that in my e-mail, I was almost instantly able to check out items.

DR George--thank you so much for offering to make all those DVDs. I would also like everything but "Red." I have keychains for you!
I won the online lottery for Aladdin Saturday. I had never seen it. I enjoyed it very much. I had a box seat so I did miss any action on the right of the stage, but for $33 I guess I couldn't complain.
Saw Kristin Chenoweth on Saturday night. She had many guests, none of whom I had heard of. They were all good.
TCB will be pleased that we're already on page 5!
I guess I don’t understand why you would need more than one library card.
Tom, did you only want a DVD of 42nd Street, or did you want any of the other PBS theater shows?

After thinking it over, if I could get copies of KING AND I and KINKY BOOTS.
I have KING AND I recorded, but I have no way to put it on a DVD, so I would like having them to keep.
