Went to a cooking class with Edward Lee, who was on Top Chef during the season when they filmed in San Antonio. He has a restaurant in Louisville, so it was good to talk with him about my old hometown. He also gave me a few recommendations of places to go to when I'm there at Christmas.
The best dishes he made were a seaweed risotto with shrimp and clams that had an almost coconut flavor to it and a sweet potato noodle dish with thin strips of beef short rib.
