Went to a cooking class with Edward Lee, who was on Top Chef during the season when they filmed in San Antonio. He has a restaurant in Louisville, so it was good to talk with him about my old hometown. He also gave me a few recommendations of places to go to when I'm there at Christmas.

The best dishes he made were a seaweed risotto with shrimp and clams that had an almost coconut flavor to it and a sweet potato noodle dish with thin strips of beef short rib.

Now it's time to watch the rest of "Her." Don't like Joaquin Phoenix, but Amy Adams in a small part is outrageously good.

Back from a pretty good show. The Friday nights are the tough ones and they're more prone to a few wobbles, but said wobbles were the kind that are undetectable by mere mortals, so all was fine.
