Well, no has offered me any advice on my Elvis Soundtrack albums so I've been playing them. There's only about a half a dozen of them but eighty or ninety percent of them, the songs are utter crap (almost all except for the hit or two that was usually culled from them for single release). Still I waver between, "Oh, you haven't played them in thirty years, why do want to keep them?" to getting sentimentally attached to them. I'm currently sloging through Fun In Alcapulco and as negligible as the songs are I find myself tapping my toe out of some Pavlovian nostalgic reaction. Tell me I'm crazy and get rid of them. But first tell me if they're worth anything? Some of the album jackets have seen better days but the albums are remarkably clean.
The ones I've come across are:
Roustabout
Fun In Alcapulco
Girl Happy
It Happened At The World's Fair
Girls! Girls! Girls!
Kissin' Cousins!
I think I might have one or two more lurking somewhere. Just so no one thinks I'm crazy, many of these I bought second-hand for a buck.
