Nobody here has to worry, because our site has the jiggiest people who are both bright AND respectful.  Other sites are not so lucky, hence we should be able to vote off certain types of posters.  I ate luncheon at the Cheesecake Factory - I had the fried shrimp scatter - way too many teeny fried shrimp, a whole mess o' fries and a little cup of clam chowder.  It was good but now I'm full and uncomfortable and I want to vomit on the ground.

ROTFLMAO --  I read it that you bought lunch at the Cheapskate Factory

Swishy:  When you call Laura II, have her invite Josh to go along, too.

Ozzie:  There is a very good reason why my niece and nephew call me Uncle, or they call me Tom, but they do not call me Uncle Tom.

How many of you can fit on to the "Kontiki"? It should make it as far as Easter Island. Then just keep swimming west - just passed the land of the Hobbits.
I thought a new photo would be appropriate - I need to adjust the "vertical hold" a little. This was taken last week.

Is it just me or do others prefer the TV ADDAMS FAMILY to the movie counterparts?

Sorry TCB. I should have modified that post . I meant to be signing it from "Uncle Tom" ie myself.  Does anyone spell your name "THOM"? My older brother always uses that as the abbreviation. Most of my close friends use "Thomas". Special people get to use "Tommy" or TP.

Raul Julia could do no wrong, but I'll take the TV family anytime.

Tom from Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie (Oi Oi Oi)

The lead singer to the alt-band Radiohead uses the abbreviation "Thom" as does the interior designing guy on Queer Eye :)

Special people get to use "Tommy" or TP.

And here we hit an amusing cultural bump!

In the U.S. of A., "TP" is the popular abbreviation for papier de toilette (trying to put it delicately).

And "Tommy", of course, is a Hilfiger cologne/perfume brand.

Well, the movie cast is made of of REALLY talented people, and they certainly do well with their roles, but there's just something about the freshness of Carolyn Jones, John Astin, and Jackie Coogan's playing that makes me prefer them.

The first year that show was on, I thought it was the most hilariously weird and wacky thing I had ever seen, and I MUCH preferred it to THE MUNSTERS which debuted the same year.

Anyone who has ever eaten at The Cheescake Factory knows it could never be called the Cheapskate Factory, as everything on their menu is rather overpriced - that said, their portions are obscene.

MattH, what are you doing asking our Kenny Mandelbread a question?  I'm sure that any of us could answer any question you might have and do it with a lot more fun than our Kenny does.

DR Tom of Oz: Meant to mention that you look very jovial and pleased in the new pic, quite a mood swing from the macho, taciturn fella in the previous one. I'm not sure which I like better. I certainly like them both for very different reasons.

I doubt it very much!!!!

Oh bk, long before I knew you (a Styne, Comden and Green reference) and the other marvelous members of this society, I had been writing to Ken asking questions about theater. I even subscribed to the NEW YORK NATIVE just because he wrote about Broadway cast CDs and other musical articles for them. I wasn't on the internet then and am not sure I even had one of your Bay Cities CDs at that point, though I'm sure I learned about their existence from Ken.

Thanks Matt. I guess I am somewhere in between. Especially on an unshaven Saturday morning. There are two years beteen the photos.  I have changed back to the first one to please the bears out there! (At least until I can modify the new one to the right proportions!)

I thought this WAS the "Queen for A Day" site. DR Ron: I think you go back to one star when you reach 500.

I am on a boycott of Cheescake Factory, inasmuch my reaction to the copious advertising in their menus is the same as my reaction to being made subject to commercials in movie theaters.

And I agree with you, Dear BK, that their prices are outrageously high for very ordinary food, long lines and perfunctory service.

I like the TV version of the Addams Family better too, although I thought Christina Ricci was a riot as Wednesday in the movie.

TCB - I can squeak like Cousin Itt too, but my hair is short right now so I would probably come off more like those fry guys from McDonald's.  (Hmm.. it even looks like me with the glasses and the pointy hat.  Does anyone here have pigtails?)
