Watching the rest of Another Man, Another Chance. Interesting movie. The pace is not fast and yet it never lags. I still wish the DVD had not been dubbed. It's really disorienting.

I see A Bronx Tale is closing after 700 performances. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the show. The book could have used some work, but the score was enjoyable.

This morning I was screwing around in the "mail options" window, and I apparently hit the right thing, because the incoming mail is now back to normal.

I am sure you were very relieved.

I was at work at 7:30 left at 10 to be here by 1030 and not in chair until 1120

That is terrible.

I’m having hot wings and a slice of pizza for dinner.

Did you make the pizza yourself?

Bryan made us pizza in his propane pizza oven he keeps on his little balcony.  It was good.

I'm back from my fun trip to Chicago.  Did a lot of tourist stuff, like the Architecture Tour on the river, the Bean, the Shedd Acquarium, the (ferris) Wheel,

How did I miss that you were in Chicago while we were there ;D

We went to a place that played jazz and had magicians walking around doing tricks at the table.  Then there was a slight show.

The Old Fashioned were done correctly and were delicious.

We had a very enjoyable evening.

Vixmom, I hope the staff didn't hear you muttering under your breath about their tardiness. They're liable to put the old root back in out of spite.

It was supposed to be a surprise. I didn't see your list until late last night

I really do appreciate it.  I'm giving you one for Christmas! :)

DR Vixmom, your gift just arrived.  Thank you so much!

I think I liked the CD.

I was trying to pay some bills and couldn't pay one of them because it kept asking for my 9-digit account number. I entered the 9-digit account number but the error message said I had to enter 9 digits first.

Irritating.

My sister Annaliese called. She has no sympathy for my mother, who is not in a very good place right now and is in her full bipolar drama queen mode. I think Annaliese's patience is low because she broke her ankle. So, I can just imagine jolly things happening the next time she goes to Louisville.

Turns out there is a French version of Another Man, Another Chance on the disk. They just didn't advertise it very well. I may watch the beginning again to see it as it should be.

Wow, Kevin, thanks for the Cher report.

And you even had a better seat than Cher!  (assuming 6th row is better than 9th row)

And to think, i thought I had a great seat being 5th row for Georgia Engel, Donna McKechnie, Andre De Shields and Lenora Nemetz (who is not really known, but I've seen her so many times and never been disappointed)

I'd forgotten that (long before "Half-Time") in 1992, Georgia Engel, Donna McKechnie and Barbara Feldon had done a show off-Broadway called "Cut the Ribbons."
