Well, you've read the notes, the notes went from worst to best, and now it is time for you to post until the from worst to best cows come home.

I’m confused.  BK, you have to many irons in the fire for me to keep straight in my head.  What is the musical you are working on?

T.O.D.

I can’t think of any courtroom movies that I enjoyed.  I loved PERRY MASON when I was growing up, but that is television.

Today, I want to get to work a little early.  I need to finish up all the invoicing for the month, then get started on packing up my office stuff and organize what I need and want to keep.  Our area is going to be rearranged and certain things will be moved and we all have to be ready soonly...too soonly, if you ask me (even though we've know for at least a month that it will be happening ;) ).

I did have one really weird dream about Bolton-Wodehouse-Kern musicals from 1917 and it seemed endless.  In half the dream I was outside the librettos and in the other half I was acting in them.

John Williams was my publicity client when he did THE REIVERS.

He got an Oscar nomination for the score.

Sadly, that was the year of BUTCH CASSIDY & THE SUNDANCE KID.

I still think Williams had the better score.

I liked the story of the blind kids coming to record for you.

I worked many years at the Indiana School for the Deaf as the Purchasing Administrator.....very interesting.  That is where I learned sign language, although it is signed English not the ASL that is preferred today.

When one of my plays was produced, a lady who worked in my office wanted to come and I told her unfortunately it wouldn't be signed.....so she just asked for a copy of the script.

She read it a few times and enjoyed the play.....

DR Jane you were talking about not being able to buy clothes at Costco.  I actually love the clothes there.  I do sometimes find it hard to know what size I will need. Sometimes it's medium. sometimes large, and sometimes extra large. So i definitely need to try on what I want to buy.  I have gotten some amazing jackets there including both my Fall and Winter jackets. For shirts or sweatshirts i just try them on over a t-shirt. For pants I actually try them on over leggings, as otherwise I would not have a clue what size to buy. Same for pjs.  I also love their shoes.  Their prices for the name brands are way less than at any other store.

You know that they have a very liberal return policy.  I just get a couple different sizes, try them on at home, and return what doesn't fit.  I've done that with shoes from Amazon, too. :)

Yes they are very good about accepting returns. But the return lines can be very long here.  I re-try on everything i buy at home. And return if it's no good. But usually it fits.  I hate that they don't have little stalls to try things on in the store.

I read that as Adam’s Rib on 34th Street!

Josh and I are all set for Wednesday's colonoscopy pickup, so I'm happy about that.

Elmore, vibes for a successful colonoscopy!  I know they can be a real pain in the ass.

I was looking through some DVDs, trying to find a specific Blu-ray that my sister's boyfriend made for me.

I wanted to find the opera Satyagraha by Philip Glass that was shown on PBS in 2011.

Glass' Akhnaten will be shown on PBS in April, and I want to make a Blu-ray of that.

Then I can keep the two together.

Now, if PBS ever shows a production of Einstein on the Beach, I'd have Philip Glass' trilogy. :)

This new production of Akhnaten was shown in movie theaters last month.

I am watching Jimmy Kimmel’s tribute to Kobe.

I'm not watching any broadcast TV, just these Blu-rays that I found.

I had to miss both showings of Akhnaten and was really bummed about it.

I don’t know Phillip Glass.

He's a minimalist composer, so his tunes aren't really that hummable. ::)

Anyway, I'm really happy that Akhnaten will be broadcast on PBS.

Tom, if you look him up on YouTube, you probably won't care for his work...I don't really know why I like these shows.  I'm not otherwise a particular fan of his work.

I'm probably more indifferent to his other works, as opposed to disliking them.

I recorded the Men’s Free Skate yesterday, but when I watched it last night, NBC interrupted the broadcast for a news report on Kobe’s death, just before Nathan Chen and Jason Brown skated.

Another Blu-ray that Larry made for me that I found was the movie version of Paint Your Wagon that was broadcast on TCM.

That's not been officially released on Blu-ray, so I'm glad that I have this.

And another opera that Larry put on Blu-ray for me was Rigoletto with Placido Domingo.

Apparently they switched over NBCSN to show those two skaters.

I think this production was filmed at the  actual specific locations in which the opera is set.

Apparently they switched over NBCSN to show those two skaters.

Too bad your recorder couldn't automatically switch over, too.
