Just sitting here trying to ride out this cold. But what’s worse than me having it is that two of our four cast members have it, too. And I’m not so sure about a possible third one.

John Williams was my publicity client when he did THE REIVERS.

He got an Oscar nomination for the score.

Sadly, that was the year of BUTCH CASSIDY & THE SUNDANCE KID.

I still think Williams had the better score.

What a difficult decision.

I loved The Rievers when I first saw it. I think I was in high school. Saw it again within the last six months and agree completely with BK’s review.

After physical therapy I stopped at the Big Supermarket on 84th Street and Columbus and stocked up on a few things, including the things for a big cauldron of  chili.

I don't think I've mentioned the title of the musical, but it's adapted from a late 1980s movie.

Cool!  My first thought was The Faculty ;) but that's the late 1990s.

The last couple of days when I come to the main site, I have to refresh to get the latest column to show up....it's no problem....but it is different than before.....and you know how we old people are with changes.....

That's so weird. :-\ I never have to refresh my browsers...not at home nor at work.

DR Jane you were talking about not being able to buy clothes at Costco.  I actually love the clothes there.  I do sometimes find it hard to know what size I will need. Sometimes it's medium. sometimes large, and sometimes extra large. So i definitely need to try on what I want to buy.  I have gotten some amazing jackets there including both my Fall and Winter jackets. For shirts or sweatshirts i just try them on over a t-shirt. For pants I actually try them on over leggings, as otherwise I would not have a clue what size to buy. Same for pjs.  I also love their shoes.  Their prices for the name brands are way less than at any other store.

You know that they have a very liberal return policy.  I just get a couple different sizes, try them on at home, and return what doesn't fit.  I've done that with shoes from Amazon, too. :)

Not worth it too me when I can see the chances are the clothes won't fit.  Plus I am with Keith who zips through the store very quickly-lol

Yes they are very good about accepting returns. But the return lines can be very long here.  I re-try on everything i buy at home. And return if it's no good. But usually it fits.  I hate that they don't have little stalls to try things on in the store.

I just made the most delicious vat of chili.  When it cools down, I'll break it down into small containers and freeze it.
