Quickie report -
Der Brucer and I are back from Philly - already!
We went up there to see Matthew Bourne's Edward Scissorhands, at the Academy of Music. Good seats, close but nottooclose. The show? Impressive, but it didn't bowl us over. There were some missteps in the set-up of the storyline, missteps that led to a disappointing finish. Still, it was impressive. And, true to the movie the ballet is based upon, it did snow. In the theater. And it was real snow! (I told you all that our seats were close.)
I'll let der Brucer launch his own critique later. He's got some questions that need answering, that some of you may have answers for.
