Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

George, what did you think of the Desperate Measures OOBC?

I enjoyed it.  It kept reminding me of Das Barbecü, but I don't know if that's a good thing or not. ::)

I think you can appreciate a cast album more when you've seen the show because you understand the context and I've seen the show twice (thank you, Larry!) but I love the CD, I've been listening to it in my car

I don't doubt that context would help me enjoy it more.  I've only listened to it once, and I haven't read the synopsis in the booklet yet, so when I do I know that that'll help.

It was obvious that last night's show was not a LIVE recording....all of the songs were prerecorded....and it was taped on many days NOT all at once.....

Maria was old enough to play Mother Superior....and of course she sang my two favorite things: "....the sown dove Music" and ".....lonely go turd....."

Other such things that annoy me are of course "....beauDEE and the beast...." and "...wooden tit be loverly....."

In the opera/musical The Nightingale by Charles Strouse, Sarah Brightman says the line, "It twooden twerk." :D

Today is my brother McBeth's 70th birthday.  I could care less.

Should we send him birthday curses??

;)

I thought yesterday was an important date that slipped past me because of the apartment tsuris, and other madness in my life.

I remembered Nov. 9 as the anniversary of Thatch's moving into 202 West 82nd Street, and I was wrong.  I went back to the HHW posts from last November, and I carted him home from Dykeman Street on the evening of Nov. 8.  He's now 14 months old and one of the two greatest loves of my life.

That's so sweet!

No, that's not a bad thing.  The show is really quite wonderful.

I have cleaned out the top shelf of the linen closet and Annabelle has climbed up to check it out.  She may never come down again.

Now that I have gone this far, I have a lot of things to launder so I may just go ahead and finish off this step now.

Glad to hear that Larry now knows what's causing Annabelle's congestion. Especially since the fix does not require medical intervention.

Vibes to Annabelle to stay healthy!

Glad to hear that TCB's eye procedure went smoothly. Until he mentioned it a few months ago I didn't know there was a procedure for glaucoma.

Recovery and healing vibes to TCB!

Although I knew about the fire in Thousand Oaks I was completely shocked to learn that all of Malibu had to evacuate. That is quite frightening.
