Well, you've read the notes, the notes, I hope, brought back some memories of dear Susan, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're saying a prayer that Susan is in a wonderful place.

I am so sad to hear about Susan.

I had the opportunity to meet Susan during the recording of Jeepers Creepers. I even took some photographs which one was published in Richard's and Tom's magazine (whose name escapes me at the moment.) I remember how excited they were about meeting her.

Susan was petite and unassuming person who I would also think was a little shy. I remember her at the dinner we had, a huge group of people, and sat upstairs. Sorry don't remember the res tauant's name.

I have had the opportunity to meet many actors and actresses over the years and she was one of the nicest.

I also remeber at the recording session that Dorothy Loudon was supposed to sing I've Written A Letter To Daddy/Whatever Happened To Baby Jane. But she pulled out because she was under the weather. She too was battling cancer at the time and died a short time later.

Good morning, all! I slept well, and I have a day of errands, the first being a session at Toyland with Peter Foley to run through the current state of ROBERTA and finish the score off. After that, I must needs accomplish some holiday shopping. I've been quite pathetic so far this year. Of course, an income would help, too.

Sad news about Susan/ I thought your tribute to her was quite beautiful, BK! She was already absent from HHW by the time I arrived in 2004. I never met her, although I have a memory that she came to one of the NYMF performances of THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X.

What a lovely column about Susan. I only knew her through this here site, but did have some email correspondence with her.

She sent me a couple of nice signed photos - and since she knew I was a fan, she sent me a nice 11x17 repro of the Attack of the 50 Foot Woman poster she had found somewhere.

Shocking news to hear....shocking and sad. And yes prayers for Susan's family and other friends.

Her commentary with her mother and Bruce on BEGINNING OF THE END is so much fun!

I had a great time at Joe's Pub last night at Pam Ann's show. Our group somehow ended up right in the front ring in "First Class", and each of us became "targets" throughout the show.

Sad, sad, sad to hear of Susan's passing.

Because of this site, the most popular one on the internet, Susan and I became chums. We would have nearly nightly chats on aol messenger and we would find travel contests online and enter them together. At the time of the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy, she and I were actively pursuing the chance to win a trip to New Zealand. Susan and I spoke telephonically quite a bit in those days as well. I would also buy Pennsylvania Lottery tickets for her whenever she wanted.

While she was in school she would send me her computer-based projects to comment on.

FINALLY, I met Susan at a Monster Bash in Butler, PA. this was right after "Jeepers Creepers" was released. In person, Susan did not disappoint. Warm, friendly, charismatic, pert and beautiful. Susan was one of the first inscriptions I acquired on the "Jeepers Creepers" cd booklet. (She also inscribed my dvds of ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE and BEGINNING OF THE END).

As always, her inscription was to "Tony Sweetie," her very own nickname for me.

At a later Bash, Susan introduced me to her father, who was making his first appearance at a Monster Bash.

Sad, sad, sad to learn that such a "lovely lady," (me chosen nickname for her) has left this realm.

Bon voyage, Lovely Lady, wherever this next journey takes you.

It is still difficult for me to turn my head to breathe, as much now due to my left shoulder as my right one. I need ear plugs that make me deaf, combine that with goggles vs glasses & I have to keep asking people to tell me the time. Since I can't always hear their response I need them to indicate using their fingers. It is rather embarrassing. Don't suggest I take out the ear plug. I did that today & once wet it doesn't fit back in as well. I never used to be bothered by water in my ears.

Ha, we should swim together. I also wear ear plugs. I hate getting water in my ears.

I have a bathing cap, goggles, ear plugs, and a nose plug.

But I can see without my glasses. And there is a big clock at the shallower end. I sometimes adjust my ear plugs. Just press the water out.

I haven't been swimming in a month. Just haven't felt 100%. And i really need to feel almost that to swim full out.

It's crazy. From april-oct i exercise 6 days a week. But so far the last month has not been good. I hate indoor exercises. I need to do my indoor bike and hoopnotica!

I'm sitting here crying as I type. Keith & I are so very sad today. He has known Susan since high school & I have known her since 4th grade. Last I spoke to her I knew she was seriously ill, but not without hope or that she had cancer.

Bruce, your notes this morning were very moving & a nice tribute to Susan.

I am also very saddened to learn of Susan (DR DenMother)'s passing. I interviewed Susan for Classic Images magazine back in the early 2000s and she, along with DR JRand, were the two people who urged me to join HHW.

I finally met Susan in person during my first trip to New York back in 2004. She drove in to Manhatten to meet me for breakfast and the two of us toddled about the town for a good part of the day. I remember that she took me to a well stocked health food store which she was fond of.

She was a delightful person and a dear friend.
