Don't know if it will snow but it's going to be chilly, more like late winter than early spring. I guess those balmy days in November, December and January were a curse.

I think Jose would probably attend the Eater Parade.

I'm sure I'll spend most of tomorrow going over the seventy-something new pages I wrote in the last nine days, and I have to make sure I like my ending (I think I do), but for all intents and purposes the book is finished.  I shall celebrate at Genghis Cohen this very evening.

Is it going to snow tomorrow in New York for the Eater Easter Parade?

In your Easter bonnet
with all the snow upon it,
you'll be the coldest lady
in the Easter Parade!

I'll be all in thermal covering,
and when over you they're hovering
I'll be the warmest fella
in the Easter Parade!

On the Avenue, Fifth Avenue,
the paramedics will test us
and you will find that you
Are coming down with Asian Flu

Oh, I could write a sonnet
about your Easter bonnet
and of the girl who's freezing
at the Easter Parade!

With apologies to Fred.

Cilla, you're going to be busy making copies! I would like a copy of the weather cast as well.
Well if I copy these as well as I did the cookbook...

I feel nappish.

A line from an early Our Gang comedy?

Oy and vey, I forgot two titles for the sale list - I'll go back and add them to the list, but they are:

The Stephen Sondheim Album - a GREAT album with great singers like Brent Barrett, Lea de Laria, Norm Lewis, Christiane Noll, Emily Skinner, Alice Ripley, Dorothy Loudon

Christiane Noll: A Broadway Love Story - for my money, in my top five - everything about it came together so perfectly and I just adore it.

VERY limited quantity on both those new titles.

It does feel great to finish the book, and it's always a little rueful, too.

DR der Brucer - I don't know...somehow I had pictured you and DR SWW with 5 petite hounds.  But, from the pics, at least some of them seem quite large.  Glad you have a lot of space there!  :)

Now you know why Woody calls Fletcher "The Pony".

When we first got him he was trim and fit:

Then he learned stunts like this:

Now, there is no where you can hid food - he opens closets, drawers, cupboads, climbs on the stove to pull pans down from the rear burners, dumpster dives in the garbage disposal in the sink, etc!

When the food bowl is empty, he drags out a covered plastic container where we keep an emergency supply of food (tasty puppy kibble), even though there is an open bag of the regular low-fat food nearby!

I think I'll check out some DVD transfers now, and then I must shower and then be on my way to a fine dining adventure.

I had a fun day at the mall. I decided to put together a basket or bag (not sure about that part) of goodies for my mom for her birthday. So I bought some fun costume jewelry, bubble bath, tea, the free gift from my estee lauder purchases, godiva chocolate and maybe some more fun things. Just a pamper yourself bunch of goodies to be topped off with spring flowers to be delivered on the big day.

She's been sick again today. Nothing serious, but she's not up to snuff yet.
