Joshie needs my help at City Center, so I will make the trek this morning. I do not think walking has been such a painful situation in a long, long time, so I am frankly scared about this trip. I will deposit that San Francisco check on the way down and take enough money with me that I can taxi there or home if walking truly becomes a major ordeal.

An hour, that is crazy. One thing I did like about Oregon was the official drive through center. Once the car was checked for smog, and a few other things, you could give them the check & paperwork for the renewal. We still had to wait for the new tags in the mail but it saved a step and was faster.

I received a call this morning cancelling my doctor's appointment due to an emergency. The new day is actually more convenient.

We had auto inspections in Indiana for several years, but it was discontinued in the mid 70's.
