Evening all!

I tried to clean Mom's room today.  I'm afraid I did more crying then cleaning.

My left arm was thumping like crazy.  I still have the stress test to go through.  I'm just going to have see what that tells me.

Mom’s “friend” stopped by today.  Many months ago, she gave a twenty to a Jehovah Witness because she felt sorry for the old lady and then she couldn’t get rid of her.  She kept stopping back by.  I told her Mom passed and that I work so hopefully I won’t have her stopping by on the weekends.  I dang sure am not going to be handing her twenty dollars every time she shows up.

I let her pray over me and then she was on her way.   :)

I'm not looking forward to going to work tomorrow.  It's been a couple of weeks now (at least that how it seems) since I've been back.  Ugh.  :P

Did you know that work is a four letter word?   :-\

Off to rehearsal!  We're running through acts 1, 2 & 3.  We are only going to have two acts, but I don't remember where it actually breaks.  Until later!

DR TCB - no, I leave the homemade potato salad to my sister, her daughter, and my mother-in-law.  Can't compete with them, so I buy it at the Kroger deli.

I make potato salad but I don't put mustard in it.  It's just potatos, hard boiled eggs, onions, celery, salt, pepper and Miracle Whip.

Sign of summer:  I've just assembled my first batch of baked beans for the season.  You start with a 28-oz can of Campbell's Pork & Beans (drain off a little of the liquid) and add 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, 1/4 C. molasses, 1/4 C. catsup, 1 tsp. yellow mustard, 1 tsp. hot dog relish (mustard & pickle relish mixed), and some chopped onion if desired.  Top with bacon, if desired, and bake at 375o for an hour and 15 minutes.  The house will smell so good!

Of course, I also had to buy a loaf of dark pumpernickel bread, because there's nothing like a cold baked bean sandwich on pumpernickel.  That said, I doubled the baked bean recipe, which can be done quite successfully.

I'll have to try your Baked Beans, DR Ginny.   I've never had them on pumpernikel bread either.

ASSOCIATED PRESSMaybe Edisaurus can get a job "cutting the hog".

This makes me sick.  Wasn't the hog more impressive when it was ALIVE?  Why to people have to kill something to be a "big" man/person?

Topic of the day about writing stars.  Well, I told you all the Jack Wild story.  I can't really think of anyone else.  I was never one for writting people after that.

I have to go as well.  I need to check the bus web site.  Lord only knows what they have done to the route in the time I've been gone.   We may not even have a bus route for all I know.

I still think they should change the name from HARTLINE to FARTLINE:  Because our service stinks.

At least that would be honest.  ;)

Laters,
Have a wonderful evening all!

I'm really angry that I missed Jrand's mean-spirited post.  I think it's evil and unfeeling of him to have deleted it.

And I'm not even in a crabby mood today.

:)

LOL.
