The good news is the day is done and I now have the rest of Ye Olde Evening to relax and smell the roses or the coffee or the feta cheese.

Oh... Back to "So You Think You Can Dance?" for a sec...

So...  If we didn't knows the story behind Mia Michael's "Reunion" dance, would the judges have been that impressed?  Frankly, I thought it was a good routine, but, technically, it was on the simple side.  -And I spent the whole time worrying if Neil and Lacey were going to slip on the flowers.

There is a LOT of blood and violence....and some nudity....sort of like doing community theatre.

On stage or back stage?

Congrats to DH Richard on his pending Matriculation!

Thank you, DR Jose!  The ceremony was quite nice, but it was very hot in the chapel - those poor folks garbed in vestments!  The matriculants signed their names in the Nashotah House registry and now I have "Put It in the Book"  from The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd running through my head.  DH Richard is now a Son of the House, which means (among other things) that he can be buried here if he so chooses.  I told him not to be in any hurry.

By the way, several Daughters of the House matriculated tonight, too.

I wouldn't mind looking like old Tab Hunter.  He looks better at 75 that I did at 55.

And the green tinge to the doughnut and the glaze was actually sort of pretty too.

Gee, I usually avoid naked baked goods with a green tinge.

Flashback memory - as a young teenager I had a summer job as a short-order cook/server/gofer at a boardwalk lunchroom called Mom Ryan's in Ocean City NJ. I had two regular early-morning chores:

ONE - scrape the mold off of the pie slices left over from the day before

TWO - mix the needed amount of Ketchup into the burger to disguise any discoloration

Well, as of today, we wll be moving sooner than later. Much sooner. I don't know how we will get everything accomplished in less than a month, but I'm sure I will soon be E&T when I'm not at work and loading footage or having down time.

Im not particularly happy about this development but I imagine I'll be happy after we're finally moved.

It's never a good time to move, at least you'll be done with it sooner rather than later

Dr’s TCB & elmore, the binge is over & I’m still suffering from a hangover. ;D

Singdaw- Thank you for the vibes.  I’ve been mostly groggy today & and feeling slightly nauseated.  Last time I was really sick so I’m a happy camper.

If you didn't guess, I had a colonoscopy today & were removed.  Even if the biopsy report isn't good they were found early enough not to be a worry. :D
