Sorry, td! Didn't know you wanted to dance. I know a cake dance is a little strange. But for some reason, when I tried to post a dancing man, the cake kept coming up. So finally I decided to go with the flow and make it a "cake dance."

I think I did too, but, I don't want to talk small talk, even if it seems I've heard that song before. . .

D'Artagnan, Milady!

'Cause, if you'll excuse my boldness, "gnon" in French slang -- again?!?! -- means an uppercut!

Don't punch me, Milady!

More Champagne?

What a relief. It was so slow at HHW this morning when I woke that I thought I would need a flurry of fifty frenzied posts. Now to read all the news.

We are not allowed to use the word "Champagne" in OZ for that bubbling French "type" wine. I think not in NZ either! I shall neverthless drink to you health mon ami.

Bonjour!

I always thought that closets were for clothes!

I believe the English store bottles of Evian in theirs, hence the name Water Closet :o

No pics will work at the moment! The pixies may be to blame.

I was walking down the street this afternoon and my cell phone rang. It was my daughter calling to say hello from Budapest (she bought a phone card). I noted that it was the middle of the night for her. She said yes, it was 2 AM and she and her boyfriend were just coming home from a gay bar where they had gone with one of the other students from San Francisco who is gay and was homesick.
My memories of Budapest - in spite of the fact that I've visited a few times since leaving - are the memories of a child. So, gay bars are not in the old memory bank.
Good to know that DD is gettting a well rounded education.
