I'm finishing up one last dvd dub for the night. An older movie called "Sweet Hostage" with Linda Blair. One of those odd movies that I happen like.

Some of my tape are years old. If I don't do something soon I'll lose them because the tapes will break.

I must have taped this movie by timer because the commericals are in it. I always used to cut them when I sat and taped something. It's kinda cool to see them.

I have a number of old telly movies I would love to transfer to dvd...

The typical lifespan of vhs tapes is 10 years.

DR JMK and I both feel the same way about that work of FICTION. In fact it is worse to me than Carroll's HARLOW because it made so many claims as to being the "true" story....or based on such.

You could find a bit of truth here and there....and Lange looked liked Frances, though she didn't sound like her at ALL!

The cool thing is with some software I bought, I can now make stills of anything I record. That was another thing I was testing today with those pictures of me. It worked pretty good.

Gee, I'm not 100% sure. I know I've been here since the start of this new board layout and I did post on the old layout for at least a little while.

And I have to say I couldn't have found a better group of people to post with.

I belonged to another board (that shall be nameless )where the fighting and spats still go on to this day.

I've totally stopped posting there because every time I had 2nd thoughts and went back, I honestly couldn't find anything to post about and I didn't want to fight.

I look in on them from time to time and just gasp at some of the posts I see.

I have some soap tapes from the late 80s and even an appearance of theChieftains at the Boston Pops when they appeared on public telly.

Would love to get some eppies from Search for Tomorrow... I wouldlove to capture but my dvd player does nto do that and I dont have even enough memory on my puter to do that....

Not that I am aware of, DakotaCelt. My father's family for the most part came from Norway, by way of Alaska.
