I would like some of that caramel, Ginny. Even if it's no good for me.

Happy Anniversary to MR BK, HHW & All of its denizens.

Yes, the internet is even crazier today than ever -  people making threats, asking others to "unfriend" them if they voted one way or another, declaring that people who voted one way in particular are unworthy of being friends with those who voted another.....UGH

Fortunately I have not seen that, yet.

I really haven't been on FB in quite a few days...I lurked a bit, but not for very long.

I'm glad you could get some sleep.  I tossed and turned most of the night.

I feel like wet laundry left in a heap on the floor to dry.

I also feel like I'm outside of myself watching myself.

I'm boring me silly.

Happily, I'm eating lunch.

I stopped halfway through my dinner last night with a bit of TV indigestion.

I had a cup of coffee this morning that seemed to collect in a bubble and sit on my stomach all morning.

Now, however, I'm eating beef sliders (w/cheese, grilled onions and mustard), garlic fries and a black-and-white milk shake.

And it's GOOD!

And here we all are, just like we were yesterday and how we will be tomorrow.

That's all we need to concentrate on.

For me, it's feeling like 9/11 all over again.

I had my therapy session. These are never easy, but hopefully we're addressing issues that need attention.

I now feel like I've bern hit by a truck.

I shall try to take a nap. My therapist warned me that I'll likely be sore--I already am.

vibes to all those needing them.

Back from a pastrami sandwich and no fries or onion rings.  My lower back feels a little wonky so may not jog.

Typing away questions.  Staying far away from Facebook.  Wondering why we're on page two on our anniversary for heaven's sake.

And shame on all those who partook of this site, the friendships made, and the help they got for not coming by to wish a happy anniversary - but, what else is new?

When I was a teenager,my father had a home improvement company for a while.  I worked for him during the summer.  I assisted a nice guy named Mr. Heaton. Summertime in South Carolina was warm and humid most of the time.  We worked outdoors mostly but sometimes indoors.  Mr. Heaton would often get a bead of sweat right on the tip of his nose.  No matter what, there was that bead of sweat.

He had another assistant who had an unusual vocabulary.  Mr. Heaton would often ask the guy if he was tired.  The answer was always the same:  "Yes.  A yit bit."  That was "Yes, a little bit".

Today I am mildly despondent.  Yes, a yit bit!

My friend and I are guessing that Barbra won't sing "Happy Days Are Here Again" when she performs in Texas and Florida in a couple of weeks.

I'm toying with the idea of having a good listen to "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" as narrated by Richard Harris.

It's still among my favorite '70s works.  It has never been issued on any other medium than LP to my knowledge.

I wonder what it would cost to obtain the rights to do a CD issue?
