They are having a concert to celebrate the Jackson Pollock mural that's been on display at our art center for the last 6 months.  Some of my artist friends are having a party a couple weeks before where we are all bringing some piece of clothing and will turn it in to our own wearable Pollock and then we'll all wear them to the concert.   I'm thinking I'll take a cap. Anything else would be stiff and uncomfortable after it was covered in paint

Maybe I should try coloring again.  When i was a kid, I could never stay within the lines.

Well who says you have to?

LOL!  It wasn't because of the drive for artistic freedom, it was just that I was a weird child.

TCB do you have Christmas plans?

I will go to my sister's house on Christmas Day for dinner and presents.  Then I will be home by five or six.

That will be nice.

We can hope.  Normally the more my sister and brother-in-law drink, the angrier my niece and step nephew will get.  Eventually, I am just glad to get out alive.

And now, I must be off.  A friend of mine is having a reading of "Laughing Stock" before he directs the show early next year, and he asked me to read one of the roles (Craig, the managing director).  I'm sure that it'll be fun!  I don't know if he wants me to audition for it, but if he would like me to, I'd certainly consider it.  I haven't done a non-Shakespeare non-musical play in many years...except for "Hollywood Who-Done-It" last year.

Until later!

It was a lot of fun...and very funny!  It's like "Noises Off" but without the two-story set.  The character that I read has a monologue about pencils and Coca Cola and it was VERY funny!  People liked the way I read it...that was nice to hear.  I'll definitely audition (in early February) if I'm not involved in anything else. :D

I very rarely feel lonely. That's something I think is much different than being alone.

I feel the same way.  I like being by myself a lot.

A one-off "holiday spectacular" episode of "The Sing-Off" was on tonight.  I'm watching it now and thoroughly enjoying it.  I love the singers...all the groups have been very good.

But they haven't been singing holiday songs.  It's like a regular episode, but there were only six groups, three were eliminated after they all sang one song, and now the last three groups get to sing another song, then the judges will decide the winner tonight.  That winning group will get $50.000.

Pentatonix won season 3 and have since become a well-known group in their own right.  They performed on tonight's episode as a guest group.  They were fantastic!
