GOOD VIBES TO EVERYONE (for all the things I read about, and don't respond too).

Mostly because I don't take notes, and then have a senior moment.

I'm coming on a bit earlier tonight than usual. I'm hoping to catch back up on some of the sleep I didn't get last night.

DR Sam, notes must be taken to avoid senior moments.  I would be lost without them ;D

I began tonight watching the final edition of THE FASHION SHOW (can't believe I had stumbled across the winner's name somewhere, but I hadn't). Well My pick came in third place, but if that person couldn't win, I was happy for the one who did win, anyone but the one who finished second. Although I found this person a talented designer and liked quite a few creations during the season, I did not like the collection for the final judging much at all.

So, I was OK with who won.

Next I watched the last chapter of TORCHWOOD: CHILDREN OF EARTH. What a tragic end! I have read many negative things about the last episode, but I had no problem with the ending with the danger or with the final scene. Seemed like the only recourse in both instances to me.

Then I watched the final behind-the-scenes coda to TORCHWOOD. I hope they will do another series. I'd love to see them rebuild their organization from the ground up.

I still don't have a TV since the signal changed.

If I stumble across a small kitchen TV with space age rabbit ears, I'll buy it.

Next I opened up the MURDER SHE WROTE Season 10 box set. No, I'm not reviewing it. It wasn't offered at our site (or if it was sent to someone, the review has yet to appear; I did get to do Season 9). I got two episodes watched tonight.

The first found Jessica in Hong Kong. I had not seen this episode before but had no trouble identifying the killer's identity.

The second episode found Jessica back in NYC and battling with a group of others to save some historic brownstones from demolition. I did have a vague memory of this one and did get the murderer's identity correct.

By season 10, I'm thinking the writing wasn't as tight as in the early seasons. Of course, when you've done over two hundred episodes of a series, it's hard to keep the plots fresh.

France Nuyen was the most recognizable person in the first one I watched. In the second, Barbara Babcock, Herb Edelman, and Jeff Conaway were just a few of the familiar faces.

And I finished my evening watching tonight's TRUE BLOOD.

The Tara story finally got down to business. Sam seems in real danger. Couldn't believe Sookie let herself get into the fix she did when she HEARD what he was thinking and didn't simply insist on leaving or simply run away. And Jason's story has been a long time coming, but hopefully it'll take some interesting twists now that the adultery is out of the way.

I don't lead an interesting life. My life is quite boring. I like it that way.

However, I did take a huge jump backward when I saw this in the backyard:

Good Evening!

Well... Since I have to be down at Penn Station by 7:00am tomorrow morning... -I'll be working in Lancaster all day tomorrow, and then I think I'll be stopping off in Philly on the way back and spend the night catching up with some friends.  We shall see.  In the meantime...

Nobody can even see my shoelace.

His conversational style is very off-putting.
