I had to finally turn on the air conditioning - it was really hot today, and the home environment, which usually stays pretty cool, didn't.

MR BK....do you give Party Animal notes to the cast when they are in costume, or do you wait until they are back to human form to talk to them?

Cat Destroys Lloyd Webber's Phantom Sequel Score
By Andrew Gans
14 Jun 2007

After putting felines in the spotlight for nearly two decades, one would think the furry creatures would have more respect for Cats composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.

London's Daily Mail reports that Lloyd Webber's new kitten Otto has managed to destroy the music he has penned for the upcoming sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. The six-month-old cat somehow climbed into the frame of Lloyd Webber's digital Clavinova piano, which features a built-in computer.

The award-winning composer told the London paper, "I was trying to write some new music; Otto got into the grand piano, jumped onto the computer and destroyed the entire score for the new Phantom in one fell swoop."

That's one of those things that you don't know how to respond to....with humor or hubris.

I would have expected a "save" option just like a regular computer.  To loose everything, oh my.  Maybe the cat did him a favor & the rewrites will be better.

Good Evening!

Sorry to have been errant and truant for the past couple of hours, but I've been playing host and tourguide to my friend, Mike, and his friend, Linda.  We had a great Thai dinner in Hell's Kitchen, then took a nice walk up the Upper West Side.  And now it's DVR time, so...

Well, technically, I think it was only two.  He went back to first one after the second one.

Now I'm wondering if Craig is watching basketball.  I hope he is either studying, or  sleeping.  I just remembered he has the ability to multi-task.  I suppose he can do school work & watch a game at the same time.

OH!

And it looks like I'll be covering the Keyboard 2 book for A Chorus Line now too!!  -And since I'll be playing rehearsals, that's basically the Keyboard 1 Book, so, I guess that makes me the unofficial emergency keyboard sub.  :)

I've been in the other room eating ice cream and trying to watch Alison Kraus on PBS.  The sound and picture aren't in sync, which makes it very disconcerting to watch her sing.

I'm off to bed - 'night.

Doesn't ALW just have to go through the beginner's guide to Puccini again?
