Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a distinctly burnt umber feeling, and now it is time for you to post until the burnt umber cows come home.

And the word of the day is: AMATIVE!
While most of the cast won their roles in the play through the extensive audition process, Marilyn made the TEAM VIA her AMATIVE skills on the casting couch.

And now for your mental delectation, a new The Creature Wasn't Nice review.  If you haven't gotten the CD yet, I have copies and can sell them to you - just drop me an e-mail.

You know who loves the word of the day?  The Randy Vicar, that's who.

That reminds me of the story of The Randy Vicar and the Polish Sausage.  That's one of my favorites.

While I am at work, I will try to think of Saint Saens songs.

It may be difficult, what with the competing muzak wafting in the air, but I will try.

And the computer again wants to shut itself down!

See, der Brucer, it isn't something I'm doing!

It's time to restart (actually, shut off) my computer, so I'm off to bed.  Good night, all.

Sleep tight, esteemed BK.

Good morning, Dear Reader Laura.  Or shouldn't you be tucking yourself under the covers, as well?

I'm still here.  Listening to some marvelous David Raksin music - I have two CDs-worth of wonderful Raksin from his personal collection of acetates.  Very little of it has ever been commerically available.  I'm now listening to his beautiful score to Separate Tables.

sleep sweet sleep,
dream sweet dreams,
float softly in and out of a gentle world of love and light
think not of the morrow, for it will come soon enough.

Favorite French songs - almost the entirety of Irma La Douce with that marvelous Margueritte Monnot music, especially Our Language Of Love.  Quite a few Jacques Brel songs.  And, of course, I do love Ravel, Darius Milhaud, Arthur Honneger and the rest of Les Group des Six, Jean Michel Damase.  I love the French singer Mirielle Matthieu.
