I'd thought about seeing Goodspeed's Roar of the Greasepaint which closes today, and I waited till this morning to decide. The updating/restructuring sounds very interesting, but I find myself not so much in the mood for absorbing that today. So, that's that. For now.

Well, I think I said something about my parents' neighbor having a stroke. She passed away this morning. They've been living across the street from my parents since 1959. Marian was an elementary music teacher and a piano teacher. When I was about 5 I called her and asked her if she would teach me to play the piano. I hadn't asked my mom first, but when I did, she said yes. So that's how I learned to play. There were a couple times at Christmas when their family came to our house. Her daughter played the piano and we had enough to have two people sing each part of the Messiah. We didn't do all of it, but it was a lot of fun. Far from perfect, but it seemed ok. I have so many good memories about her. She will be missed.

Wow. Lots happening this weekend, and a variety of different things being discussed -- and I've got one more question to throw out for anyone who feels they can zero in on a definitive answer. It's about the live streaming of She Loves Me on Thursday evening:

As you can see from the myriad comments and questions, the confusion out there is rampant, re how to go about getting the streaming, what it can be streamed ON (besides the Roku and Apple TV they mention), paying for it, and you name it. For example, if one is NOT a subscriber to BroadwayHD, what exactly are one's options? It would seem you pay the $9.99, then on Thursday you tune in and get it. No one believes it's quite that simple. Who here feels they have a handle on it?
