T.O.D.

Why do I collect?

Wow, that is a good question.  I am basically a pack rat.  Why do I hang on to three year old issues of TV Guide and Swiss Colony Christmas catalogs from 2005?  I wish I knew.  Some type of insecurity I suppose.

I used to collect old newspapers, not counting the stack in the recycle bin (yuck, yuck).  I had them back to the turn on the 20th Century.  The end of WWI and WWII, the deaths of Harding, Roosevelt, and Kennedy; as well as many others.  Unfortunately, preserving newspapers is a difficult thing to do.  I still have most of them, but they are turning brittle, like their owner.

The only other collection I have ever had is Titanic memorabilia.  That, I suppose, is more of a fascination than a hobby.

Yikes, DR TCB!  Is everything OK?

As we drove through Franklin, OH, early this morning we saw this

Fitzgerald Flower Shop

event in progress.  It's the shop that did the flowers for John & Jayne's wedding 24 years ago.  Hers was the most beautiful bridal bouquet I've ever seen (including my own).

:(  One cat didn't get out.  I hope they were wrong & it shows up later.

Thank you DR DAW.

JMK, sorry I can't see the commercial.

You need to have Real Player installed and choose "run" when the dialogue box comes up.

I installed it months ago & don't know what happened to it.  I'm hesitant to do it now as my computer has a habit of freezing.

Wrap it in blankets.

Spoo!  David Haskell was not "The Ugliest Girl in Town,"  Peter Kastner was.

David Haskell was the best looking Judas in the world. . .

And speaking of Blankets, Mark Lester is now saying that he believes he is the father of Paris Jackson!

I have seen OLIVER.  That kid hasn't even reached puberty!

Can we upload photos here?  Here is Dave with his girlfriend:

Is it David Haskell from "The Ugliest Girl in Town?"

Ironically, Mr. Haskell's memorial site does not list Listerine among his credits.

Ugliest Girl in Town stared Peter Kastner.

David Haskell was the best looking Judas in the world. . .

That would be a true dilemma, were TWSMA ever to assay the role...

It does look familiar, but the image is so small (the Real Player) that I can't get enough of a good look at him.

I don't think so, but I didn't realize that Peter Kastner had died.

If you were a friend of Michael Jackson, and he asked you if he could have some of your sperm; wouldn't you have insisted on knowing why he wanted it?

The story gets stranger and stranger, but then who would have known that Mark Lester was the godfather of all three Jackson children.

Not so, my dearest David!  I was just stating a fact.  If Mr. Barrett should play that role, Mr. Haskell would then forfeit the title.

The same thing would happen, DAW, if you were to play the role.

That is sweet of you, DR TCB, even though I know it is not true.

Besides, I would never trash my voice to play that role.      :)

I loved HARRY POTTER and, unlike DR Matt H, I enjoyed the comedy of the pubescent crushes and Hermione's  unrequited feelings for Ron, since it lightened the heaviness of the continuing disaster and doom. I was shocked by the turn of events and the treachery of a major character as well.

Charlotte didn't tell me till it was over that she had seen it a week before, but she wanted to see it again. I got home in time to see the end of last week's THE CLOSER, and now i'm watvhing the current episode.

Keith played the commercial on his computer, not that it helped solve the mystery.  It was fun watching.

I know how confusing it is trying to communicate with multiple doctors, I'm glad they all showed up.  It is a shame the family has been kept in the dark for so long.

Actually, only one physician was present, but he took sole "ownership" of the case, which will alleviate some of the confusion.  Too many different specialists were telling them conflicting courses of action last week.

It really makes a difference to have a lead doctor, as long as he is good & communicates well.  It sounds as if your family has found him.
