While I was in Philly Keith got an iPhone.  We are now a two phone service family.  AT & T does not work at all on my regular hiking trail.  There is a stretch of the road into town where his phone works & mine doesn't.  Between us we should get excellent service at a premium price.

There were multiple times in Chicago he wanted access to the family genealogy info, now it will always be with him.  Instead of reading at the gym he has downloaded informational shows to listen to.  Sunday he joined Sherlock & me on our hike at we listened to a group of music he has labeled "in the woods".

Needless to say, Keith loves his iPhone. :)

Last night, when I checked my new e-mail on AOL, they had a printable coupone for a free medium fries and soft drink (or water) when you try the new Angus Burger.  OH Boy!

It said type in your name and then print the coupon.  For twenty minutes I tried every way possible to type my name on that coupon.  Nothing.  So I tried to print figuring I would write my name on it.  Wrong.  "You can not print this coupon until you have printed your name on it."

I almost carved my name in the screen and took the whole computer with me, but reason prevailed.

Dear Druxy, my kid already told me she's going to throw it all away, well except for what she likes.

Peter Kastner died???  When?  How?  I have such fond memories of him - we did a pilot together - we shot at the beach and we just bonded.  We went to his place for dinner and he came to ours - my daughter thought he was the berries.

On today's Y&R, Adam, Rafe, and Chance were in various scenes, but none of them really related to the other today.

Luke was on AS THE WORLD TURNS today, but only peripherally in on today's activities. Nothing in the previews.

Then I watched yesterday's L&O:CI. Steven Lang was the primary guest star, and oh, my what a gorgeous body this man still has! He took off his shirt in one scene midway through the episode, and he was spectacular! Pretty good crime story, too, which a shocker of an ending.

While I was waiting to watch THE CLOSER starting at around 9:15, I switched to one of the Encores channels that was playing (once again) TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. I watched through the beginning of Adicus' cross examination of Ewell.

Good evening!  I'm feeling much better, but will still keep an appointment with the doctor tomorrow.  I wanted to wait for my doctor who will be back next week, but they told me no, I needed to see someone now. Ok, fine.

Then I watched today's THE CLOSER. It was a very strong episode with some nice surprises and four legitimate suspects to the crime.

Tonight I decided to see how hard it's going to be to remove the countertops, so I took out a section that's about 4 feet long.  I did it!  Cool.  It was easier than I thought.   The hard part is where the sink, garbage disposal, plumbing and dishwasher are.   Chris will be here Wednesday to help and when one of my neighbors saw me outside with the countertop, he said if I need him to call and he'll come help me.   I HAVE A PLAN B!! Whew!

Amy arrived about an hour ago and we've visited a bit.  Now everyone's crashing for the night.  See y'all tomorrow.
